One Note On A Glittery Pink Sock

This is a strange announcement- one I didn't think that I'd be making for at least a few more months. Ultimately there are a lot of tings outside of this game that are driving me to do this a bit early, however, and so it goes. I think that it's important to know when the world outside of NS is in need of more focus. Sometimes it needs all of one's focus, and its glaringly clear that this is the case for me. I won't go into the details- both because I don't want to divulge said details and also because they're not really important in terms of what I have to say today. But soon I'm going to vacate the delegacy.
And that leaves me with a big decision.
This announcement is the big reveal of my HA. I'm proud of this person, who I actually didn't know all that well before working with them here. I was initially a tiny bit unsure if they'd fit the shoes I wanted them to fill, but they performed admirably and became exactly what I needed when I took the seat as Pharaoh. Now, in a moment that's likely catching most of the region offguard, the tables have turned. They'll need people to help them out as they progress and as the region progresses around them.
Being Pharaoh isn't an easy job. There are tons of pitfalls and snakes in this game, and not a lot of them are obvious. So to be Pharaoh one must have the ability to duck and weave a good bit- but one most also understand that for all its tension and momentum, NS is a game. You have to have fun with your community, build stuff together that will last past your term, and #Bully a few people along the way. That juggling act of work and play is integral in this meritocracy. I believe, with most of my socks, that Anabelle has that dynamic.
So please, when she takes the delegacy, remember if you don't work your ass off for her I'm gonna put soap into a few of my socks and glare menacingly in your direction. But also remember that we all want this region to do well, and that comes from both the work of the Pharaoh and the work you do in return. Lead raids, write articles, finally get to hammering out that endorsement program or something- do the small tings so she can do the big tings. She's earned that respect and she's gonna be a great Pharaoh because of it. :3
Love y'all.
P.S. Sorry I didn't get to 275, Ham. ;-;
