Newcomer Here!

hi all! i've recently tried getting back on ns and decided to participate in the community stuff. i've been on and off for a while so i'm genuinely usually confused with everything that's going on -- whether it's a new feature or something already pre-existing. i've been ns-ing solo for the entire duration; started ns with 8 to 10 friends but everyone just dropped out slowly over time. discord is fairly new to me and i've recently gone around playing starcraft 2 (which was released in 2010).
my interests involve video games (mostly retro), basketball, and lots and lots of anime. i've tried my hand in some role playing too via rpnation but never really got to it due to other people losing interest and i being too scared to rp with people i don't know. i am married to my lovely wife for 5 years now and currently work within the realms of information technology, specifically in virtualization, storage, backup, and server technologies. i'm originally from the philippines and grew up in australia where i met my wife.
