So now that the delegacy has been successfully transferred I'd like to take a moment and say a few tings. First off, no, I'm not making Osiris defender. I know I've already said this but I suspect there were a few people who had a bit of doubt in their hearts. Sorry to worry you. <3
Second, I'd like to thank each and every one of you who showed such strong support for Altino and Osiris during her reign. It was a phenomenal year+ with many memories that I'll cherish for a long time. Taking on responsibility in this game, or even not in this game, is not always easy and there are always going to be tings to do, people to calm down, and burn outs to consider. Altino did amazing, as we all knew she would, but also the region did amazing. That's something that I think is particularly special. You did a lot for her.
So uh, continue to do that for me or I'll push you down. >.>
Besides all the ponies I'd like to start this term with a bang. In order to do that, I gotta appoint my government! First, Anabelle is replacing me as Community Affairs Vizier. She's got a lot of CA experience, the dedication and drive to do well, and she's got one of the sickest avatars. I think that means a lot, personally. She'll have Josh as her Subvizier of Media still and Kyru as Subviz of Propaganda while we search for a Subvizier of Culture. Gameside isn't changing at all, Peebs as Vizier, Ham and Skies as Subvizier. Theyre a strong team and they still have a lot of ideas. Mike is retaining Vizier of FA for the timebing but we're searching for his replacement. FA minded people, hit me up
. Lord Dominator is reappointed as WA Vizier, and will be continuing to ping us with his well thought out opinions on the WA and helping me make some sense of its labyrinthine structure. With Benja's resignation, I'm going to be handling Legion by myself for a bit. This might make it less about tag raiding and more about recruitment, building a pile force, and possibly some stealthy tings. I'm going to be taking a look at the people who are genuinely interested in stepping up for Sekhmet in a search for our next Moshir. Lastly, but definitely not leastly, I'm also reappointing Tethys to Chief Scribe with Rocky as his deputy.
On a general note, I want to advocate a culture of communication in Osiris as we move forward. Do you have an idea for the region? A concern about the effectiveness of something we're doing, or the way it's carried out in general? Talk to me. Whatever venue you choose is open to let me, and any of the government, know how you feel about how we're doing. Once Altino had a great idea of doing surveys to let the government know how satisfied the community members were. In about 2-3 months I'm going to send another one of these out. They'll be anonymous and periodical, and a way for us to measure how effective we are and what we can improve upon.
If you're interested in taking a place in our civil service or government positions, talk to me. Talk to your Viziers, the Scribes, the Priests. Ask us questions and think about our answers and how you can contribute to the community in a way that bests fits you. This ting doesn't work unless we act as a community to make it work. I just give it some direction. :3
