Osiris Poetry!

We’ve seen many true poets in the Discord, and the forum deserves to see such greatness. So to start off, a truly terrible poem from Skies:
Osi is great,
You’re all wonderful,
I don’t know what rhymes with wonderful,
Poetry is hard
Feel free to post your own Osiris poems below.

And now to expose myself as the Emoest.
The Sick, Secondhand Soul
I suppose I ask too much of you, you know I never plan on
Leaving the burden like teething gift horses.
But I'm not as adept as I pretend.
I can say the the pretty things but even pretty things
Have deeper, darker hues under their foil skin.
And my teeth rip holes in my lips,
Hemophiliac post nasal drip.
Cocaine patchwork veins that slip
Inside themselves to fix.
The way I tend to bite when my nervousness gets
(My nails, my cheek, my wrist)
To that butterfly parade of
Battered wings and trembling fists.
The one where metamorphosis is
Adrift in some transit of interest.
And at best I can say the motions are familiar.
Little bumps in the road,
In your teeth,
In your lungs,
In your bones.
Whatever, whenever.
I can feel them, and they are on my brain,
And in the little chambers of my heart.
Where the muscle contorts itself
Into some unsteady tempo.
I can feel it, and it feels
Oh, it feels like home.
Please forget I exist.

Written in my sophomore year of high school
Don't say I didn't warn y'all (edited for spacing, otherwise untouched)
Descent to Reality
I
Once
Had
Wings.
And they were beautiful.
And with them
I would soar
High
Above the ground.
And the world was beautiful.
But I dared not
Touch
The ground.
For they would come
And take my wings
Which were beautiful.
I loved
An old man
For he was beautiful.
But he died.
So I buried him
In a field of flowers.
They were beautiful.
They came
And chained me.
They slowly
Plucked
Each
Feather.
Then they slowly
Ground
Off
My
Wings
With Chains.
And I cried.
For I knew
I was no longer
Beautiful.
And now I stand
On the edge
Of the abyss.
Can I Fly?
Who Can Know?
I leap.

I once tried to add one and two,
quite frankly, I didn't know what to do
I said it was four
and was thrown out the door
I still cannot add, but I flew

No. Lol, it's literally about my difficulties with Math.

But you were thrown out the door so you flew. It's a pun. ;-;
