On IJCC

Hail.
I am prone to excessive speech, so I will attempt to get straight to the point - effective immediately, Osiris will enact an official policy to refuse any military action with either IJCC or Europeia's ERN.
As many of you know, Legion conducted a raid a few nights ago which was intended to be a fairly innocuous raid on Warzones with allies and regions that we fly with often. It is always good for friends to come together, and so with the purpose of being friendly, Legion invited Balder, Europeia, and The Land of Kings and Emperors under their IJCC hat along with The West Pacific and The Black Hawks to join with us on this small tag raid. We had fairly good numbers to begin with - I believe I counted 12 masked for our first jump, which was successful - but unfortunately The Chairman of the IJCC informed me that Europeia would not be able to participate in this raid because their Rules of Engagement would not allow them to participate in a raid where natives were being ejected, even in Warzones. My first reaction was to just not eject the natives, but ERN troops were already in my raid chat announcing that they would have to leave and I wasn't sure if they had any other rules that I should have to worry about, so I informed the Chairman that I would just demask ERN troops to avoid complication, as my raid had already begun. The Chairman went on to inform me that because Balder was a member of IJCC, Euro's Rules of Engagement applied to them as well, so Balder also needed to be demasked. I had been assured in the past that involvement in IJCC would not effect what individual regional militaries were allowed to do, so I was a bit concerned by this new information, but I was smack in the middle of a raid and not exactly in a position to argue right that moment, so I demasked Balder as well and thanked them for their help. The loss in updaters left our raid to end consistently outnumbered, so eventually we ended up calling the raid early and spending the evening in VC while defenders pinged us to make cheap shots. When later pressed to fill in other IJCC member regions on the events of the previous night, I returned to my DMs with the Chairman to find that he had deleted the portion of our conversation where he had wrongfully applied Euro's rules of engagement to Balder troops and asked me to demask Balder.
Now, I would have considered every aspect of the situation up to that point, however inconvenient, to be understandable. But to use my raid to exert power that you do not have over another region's military, then turn around and before you are even approached about it, delete evidence that you have done so is entirely unacceptable. This displays to me that he most certainly knew that his statement had been incorrect, so he felt compelled to hide evidence, but did not feel compelled to approach me with a correction or retraction of his statement. He seems to me to have at worst been acting with malicious intent, at best a lack of integrity. IJCC leadership have assured me - to my ever shrinking confidence in their entire operation - that "Euro has always been like this," that I should just ignore the small details, that it is none of my business if Euro is taking control of Balder troops, that they had not spoken to the Chairman but were confident his actions were in perfect innocence, and a whole world of other things that have only lead me to a lack of faith in IJCC's exploits.
I have no desire to involve Osiris in any further disputes between member regions. IJCC's Chairman has either made a mistake in this situation because he does not know how his own org is supposed to work or he has maliciously mislead Osiris. In either case, an attempt to cover his tracks and pretend that he has not done it is unacceptable. IJCC's Supreme Military Council insists on sweeping this misconduct under the rug and instead have amended their policy to specifically allow the ejection of natives in raids where IJCC is present. They have taken action to pacify Osiris and patch up this particular issue, ignoring the misconduct that made it an issue in the first place. But they are right in one thing - it is not my business. If that is what they wish, then I will leave them to it. With little confidence IJCC sustainability and shaken faith in ERN's level of integrity, I step away from them both.
If any of you have any questions or concerns on this new policy, I am as ever available by DM.
