[Passed] Motion to Remove the Chief Scribe from Office

Pursuant to Article II, Section 1(5) of the Scroll of Ma'at, I move for the removal of the Chief Scribe, Agapiosia, from office.

In accordance with Section 1(4) of the Rules of the Council of Scribes, and given that Agapiosia has not named any deputies, the business of the Council of Scribes must now be administered by the Pharaoh or, if the Pharaoh is unavailable, by a Guardian named by the Council of Guardians. To be clear, according to the Rules of the Council of Scribes this means not only this vote, but all business of the Council of Scribes for the duration of discussion and voting on this motion to remove the Chief Scribe. Which means the Pharaoh or designated Guardian should move forward with other pending business.

It has been thirteen days -- one day short of two weeks -- since Agapiosia was elected Chief Scribe. In that time, we've gotten no activity from him at all. No deputies have been appointed, which would have allowed for activity to proceed in his absence. There was a motion and a second on the Criminal Code twelve days ago, and while Agapiosia did note that he wanted more discussion time, he is only permitted to extend discussion for a maximum of seven days. That means we're now five days over the maximum discussion time. We have a Constitutional Convention Amendment that has been motioned and seconded, and that is probably vital to the health of our community at this point, just sitting there. I received this promise from Agapiosia on Discord yesterday:
[11:24 AM] Nimbus-9: Everything that is needed to be done will get done today.
That was yesterday morning. It's now the next day and everything that needed to be done hasn't gotten done.

Osiris can't afford inactive officials who aren't doing their jobs anymore. That's the bottom line. If they don't have time to do what they were elected or appointed to do, they should step aside in favor of those who do have the time. Our community shouldn't sit idle because people who ran for office or accepted appointment to office aren't doing what they said they would do. Period. And this is not just about Agapiosia. This is putting all removable officials on notice that if you aren't doing your job, one of these is also going to be coming your way. We need to have zero tolerance for inactivity by our officials at this point. Osiris needs activity from the people with titles and jobs to do.

And before anyone says this is an overreaction, two weeks is 1/6 (17%) of the Chief Scribe's term. This isn't an overreaction. I like and respect Agapiosia, and this isn't personal, but we need better enforcement of activity standards and that needs to start here.

It is with deepest regret that i feel I have to support Cormac on this, heck right now we don't have a Chief Scribe Council of Preexists appointment effectively paralysing the court.

Due to the above, especially with concern to the constitutional convention amendment, I am obliged to add my voice to this list.

"Paralyzed the court" is not at all a good way to put that. Court members just retain their membership, so the court stays the same and nothing really changes.

Just as an added point the Criminal Code amendment and Introduction act has had a second on it motion to vote since the 7th of October and Agapiosa didn't put it to vote despite having a week to do so.
