KOWASSATI FOR CHIEF VIZIER Hail Osiris!

I am honored to announce my campaign for the respected office of Chief Vizier. Ever since my move from Lazarus, I have enjoyed working as the FA Vizier and meeting the colorful and interesting people of Osiris. I really like the atmosphere and opportunity here, although I feel that Foreign Affairs isn't my strongest quality. That is why I am running for CV, hoping to not only sharpen my skills, but to also make Osiris even greater than before. As the Foreign Affairs Vizier, I have been working to get relations with fellow Sinkers (especially Lazarus) better and help communication between our regions flourish. I will continue to address this along with the new duties as the head of the Osirian Government. Here are a few things I will be addressing during my term:

• Domestic Affairs: Osiris is ripe with culture and a strong sense of community. I intend on furthering that with tons of different activities to help spur not only old players, but new players as well. As CV, I will start a rigorous campaign to get more new Citizens and help them become involved in this wonderful region. Everyone has their own special ability and I want to find that skill and put it to use. Also, I will stop the poll drought that has been going on since my residency in this region by suggesting a poll at least once a week, either written by me or anyone who is willing.
• Foreign Affairs: Thanks to my current office, I now have the right amount of experience and connections to revamp our status with other regions. I am currently collaborating with Delegates and other respected players to get the Sinker Festival going, which I know will help relations. In case you didn't know, I was a Delegate in Lazarus during its Celestial Union. It may appear at times that there are harsh feelings between the current government and I, but rest assured that is a thing of the past and I have had many a conversation with Funkadelia and Lamb ( Delegate and Interior respectively). We all want the Lazarus-Osiris relation to be a good one. The Rejected Realms and Balder will also receive my attention. I used to work with TRR Delegate, Church of Satan, in Lazarus and I know he is a good player and will be open to better relations.
• World Assembly: Thanks to my previous positions in Lazarus, I have plenty of experience in WA affairs, such as making sure that the Delegate (Pharaoh) has adequate amount of WA nations endorsing him or her and explaining details and the like to new players looking to better themselves on the subject.
• Military: I honestly have no preference for R/D, but rest assured that I will make it a personal goal to help the Osirian military conduct more operations, get some flashy badges, and appoint a Marshal General with the same passion. I know with a little elbow grease and attention, our military can become whatever we put our minds to.
• Appointments: Every player I appoint as Vizier and Sub-Vizier will not only receive my full attention and help but will also have more expected from them. This is a big responsibility as CV and I will not pick players on a whim.
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure: My type of gameplay involves working with one region at a time, so at the moment I am only active in Osiris. The only other region I was involved with was Lazarus, where I held positions such as Protector of the Realm / Captain of the Guard, Grandee Secretary, Vice Delegate, and Delegate.

In conclusion, thank you for taking the time to read my campaign. The role of Chief Vizier is a big one and I will approach it with the utmost respect and concern. If elected, I will work with the Chief Scribe on issues that matter to both of our offices and Osiris as a whole, including legislation. I know Osiris will make the right choice this election! Hi Kowassati. This looks like a pretty good platform, though it feels a little short on details of how you'll do some of the things you want to do. Nonetheless, a pretty good platform. I do have a couple questions for you though.

I would caution against using "we all" phrases. Personally, I'm pretty ambivalent regarding Osiris-Lazarus relations, and I don't think I'm alone in that. Osiris has for years had extremely weak relations with Lazarus, and their current Sovereign, Funkadelia, is still the same person who stole our territory, Islamic Republics of Iran. That hasn't changed just because he switched his alignment to raider or is trying to push Lazarus to abandon its defender alignment. He still holds our territory and refuses to give it back, and that demonstrates that no matter his alignment, he is still anti-Osiris. I'm not sure why, while Lazarus has him as its Sovereign, any of us would particularly care whether Osiris-Lazarus relations are good. Clearly Lazarus doesn't care.

My question for you is what common ground we have with Lazarus other than sharing the Sinker tag. What is it that our two regions have in common that would provide a foundation for better relations in the future?

Additionally, you left office in Lazarus because people were very unhappy with your inactivity there. We can't afford an inactive Chief Vizier this term. Will you pledge that you will be consistently active as Chief Vizier, and if you're not, will you pledge that you won't fight a recall if you go more than a week without much activity?

I think we have common ground, since both Delegate Funkadelia and a majority of Osirans have expressed the wanting for better relations. Lazarus has a long history of constantly changing and I will not let a broken constitution or a Delegate, liked or not, completely severe something that can, in the long run, bring some benefit. As far as my history in Lazarus is concerned, I left because of a personal choice, being inactive during that time did not help, but it is not the main reason for my actions. The system in place required more attention than I could afford at that time. I can promise you and Osiris that if elected, that will not happen, considering I enjoy most of the players in this region.
