Feel free to request as many embassies from the
Unassigned list as you can. If you are willing to do the work, than do it. However, do not request embassies and then do nothing. We expect you to log into the foreign forum, and their discord, being
friendly and respectful to everyone. If you are not, there will be consequences. It is not a difficult thing we are asking. No one has any interest in sitting down and hearing "I couldn't control myself." You are an ambassador, act like it. It is that simple. Being nice is not hard.
But other than that, the job is pretty easy, and does not require a lot of time. You do not have to log in, and keep track of everything all the time. Once a month, or once a week, whatever is best depending on how much is happening.
So to get started, just post what region(s) you want to be the ambassador to, get approved, click the link beside the regions you picked, and join their forum! It is also good to see if they have a discord, join that as well! And that's all you have to do for the most part!
If you would like to join the Department of Foreign Affairs, please fill out our
civil service application or just request an assignment in this thread and you'll be automatically enrolled in the department upon approval for the assignment.
[Note: If there is not a link to an embassy for the region, they either A) have not created one for us, and as ambassador you should request that they create one on their forum [there will normally be an application to create an embassy on their forum that you can fill out] or B) the embassy can only be seen if you have ambassador masking on their forum, so you should request the masking if you do not have it, and if you do, paste the link to the embassy here in this thread so we can add it! Filling out applications on other forums can be confusing, and irritating at times, so we seriously appreciate the time you take to do it!]
