Citizenship Oversight Amendment Act
Section 1: Amendment to the Legal Code of the Osiris Fraternal Order
(1) The following will be amended into the Legal Code of the Osiris Fraternal Order as Article I, Section 1(6)-(7):
Amendment Text wrote:(6) Rejected citizenship applications may be appealed to the Council of Priests by the applicant within seven days of rejection. Approved citizenship applications may be appealed to the Council of Priests by any citizen within seven days of approval.
(7) Applicants whose citizenship applications are under appeal will not be admitted to citizenship, unless and until admitted to citizenship by the Council of Priests. Applicants already admitted to citizenship prior to appeal being filed will be suspended from citizenship upon filing of an appeal, unless and until admitted to citizenship by the Council of Priests.
What this legislation does:
- Provides an appeals process for rejected citizenship applicants to appeal to the Council of Priests.
- Provides an appeals process for any citizen to appeal an approved citizenship application to the Council of Priests.
I should note that this legislation is only consistent with the constitutional revision draft recently proposed by the Pharaoh, and should not go to vote until after that proposed revision has passed. If the constitutional revision doesn't pass, which is unlikely, I will revisit this again.

As a note, I forgot to include a seven day time limit for appealing revocation of citizenship, so I've edited the draft to include that.

As I just told you on discord, "It looks okay as it is, and if it requires further discussion then we can do so while waiting for a second. Then after that, I can delay the vote for up to 7 days if it needs more discussion. But I don't think any further discussion is needed haha."

I request that this not to be moved to vote yet, as a more comprehensive constitutional amendment has been proposed by the Pharaoh and some elements of this may be affected by it.
