May I ask why?

Festavo, your citizenship was denied by Pharaoh Neo Kervoskia after thorough discussion with the Council of Viziers. Logs from the Firehelm Discord's public channel, presented below, were the primary (but not exclusive) reason that the Pharaoh deemed your presence here counter-productive and unwanted.

These logs show that your primary motivation for returning to our region is to annoy me, the root administrator, for whom you hold a long-standing grudge. You call our Pharaoh a "motherfucker" purely because he did not respond to your telegram. Your supermassive ego shines through, making it plain to see that you as a player have nothing to contribute to this region beyond headaches and contrarianism.

This is, of course, in addition to the Pharaoh's recognition of your crappy behavior all around the game, as both a citizen of Osiris and elsewhere. Regardless of what mask you put on to make yourself look like a reasonable applicant, your reputation will always make your fake sincerity ring hollow. I hope that you will accept this explanation with grace, after all:

I did say those things in that Discord channel and I will own up to that, but irritating you was not the reason I joined Osiris. It was the reason I first considered joining back, but it wasn't the reason I decided to do it. The reason I decided to do it is because Osiris is a region that I did care about a lot in the past and I wanted to join back and make my voice heard on important issues within the region. I no longer wanted to be on the outside looking in. I wanted to be on the inside where I could represent a voice of a more democratic and better Osiris. I know it looks bad from those screenshots, but what you don't see is what went on inside my head when I decided to apply.

I joined wanting to like Neo Kervoskia and I really didn't harbor any bad blood there. I used the word "motherfucker" less as an insult and more as just as a word. I use colorful language from time to time as you know and I have referred to many of my friends by similar colorful terms. I apologize to the Pharaoh for that because it really looks worse than it actually was.

I know that I have a past of some controversial behavior, but I have improved recently. As you may know I haven't been very involved in NationStates for the past 3 or 4 months. During that time I have had time to think and improve on my behavior. I know that the screenshots from Firehelm seem a lot like my old behavior, but they were really just some banter that happens less often nowadays. I am a nicer person who abides by the rules and I hope people will give me a chance to prove that.

I would like to close this out by thanking you for adding a quote of something I said today. I do believe what I said and I stand by that. You may note that I said those things in a public discord channel. I didn't say those things behind people's back or make it a secret because at the time I didn't see them as a big deal at all. I was just joking around and didn't think I would join Osiris, but it got me thinking and made me realize the real reason why I should join and be a productive citizen as I explained above.
