As I have been nominated for the position of Heir Apparent, at this time, I am resigning from my duties as legislative deputy, and my position of Acting Chief Scribe. As per our laws, at this point, all legislative duties are now to be tended to by the Pharaoh, the vacant office of the Heir Apparent, or a Guardian selected by the Pharaoh. The timing of this will make it so that I am not legally mandated to act in an obvious conflict of interest by presiding over my own appointment process.

Pursuant to Article II, Secton 1(6) of the Scroll of Ma'at, I hereby designate Guardian Treize Dreizehn to administer the business of the Council of Scribes until such time as an election can be held for the office of Chief Scribe or until the office of Heir Apparent is filled.
