Announcement from the Chief Vizier Regarding Community Appointments
Hi everyone. It has been an interesting couple of weeks, and a lot of good and bad; however, I think we are still strong, still united, and ready to take on whatever challenges we may face. If we stay focused, and push ourselves, we can stay very competitive on the international level. I would like to take a moment to thank Knot, our Sub-Vizier for World Assembly affairs, for the great job he has been doing. If you take a look at the World Assembly forums both on NationStates, and our own forum, he has been on top of his job with posting proposals, contributing to discussion, and ensuring our announcement is delivered on how the region decides to vote. In addition, it looks like our treaty with the West Pacific is likely to pass, and we will be gaining another ally in the field, which is great! While we are talking about foreign affairs, I would like everyone to know that we have reached out to the Pacific about a possible partnership, and things are looking generally positive on that front.
But the real reason for this announcement – our community department has been slow, and while I have been picking up some of the slack, posting polls, the festival, etc. there needs to be more people involved in the process. Thank you, Ahemait and Gradea, for the help you have given the region and me so far! Both have been very busy as of late, and real life always come before this game; moreover, there have been pretty of people willing to help our around here, and I would just like to formally recognize those that have been contributing to the community department as of late. First off, Wrektopia, since his arrival has been a great source of ideas for the community department, helping out with polls, and discussing ideas about how to get the community more engaged, it has been great! And while he may be new, I think he would be a good fit for the community department, and shows a lot of potential! Therefore, I would like to make him Vizier of Community Affairs so that we can get rolling, and make up lost ground. Second, I would like to apologize to Transdavisia for removing him from the government. He was found not to be the leak; however, we will continue to take any steps necessary to prevent leaks in the future. I would like to reappoint Transdavisia back to the community department as Sub-Vizier of Forum Affairs. Third, I would like to appointment Weast Jurmany as Sub-Vizier of Gameside Affairs. He has been an active member on the RMB, and in discord. I think he would fit the roll perfectly, and work to help bring more activity to the Gameside of Osiris. Lastly, Ahemait will remain in the community department as the deputy of community affairs, under Wrektopia.
I would also like to official reappoint Yuno has a Field Commander for the Legion. She has been helping numerous players build their raiding skills, and learn more about military gameplay! It really is great work.
