Statement from the Osiris Fraternal Order
On the Retirement of Emperor Pierconium of the Pacific Order

Earlier today, Pierconium, Emperor of the Pacific Order, announced his impending retirement from the throne of the Pacific. He further announced that, upon his retirement taking effect, he will be retiring from the Senate of the Pacific Order. The Osiris Fraternal Order extends its congratulations to the outgoing Emperor and to the entire Pacific Order for his successful reign.

While the Pacific Order faced many challenges when Pierconium ascended to the throne, there can be no question that Pacifica finds itself stronger, both domestically and abroad, than it was a year ago. The leadership the outgoing Emperor has demonstrated has seen the Pacific Order earn back much of the respect it lost due to the actions of the rogue elements responsible for the New Lazarene Order prior to Pierconium's reign. Pierconium has improved the image of the Pacific Order even in the eyes of some of its harshest critics, including those in Osiris who were formerly critical of the Pacific.

It is important to note, however, that Pierconium's tenure as Emperor has not only been restorative, but also constructive. The recent GCR Sovereignty Accords ratified by the Pacific, the West Pacific, and our close ally, Balder, have laid the groundwork for an alternative model for relations between Feeders and Sinkers, built on mutual defense of sovereignty, respect for diverse social and political cultures, and principled but pragmatic promotion of the self-determination of Feeders and Sinkers. This model of engagement with one another is one that all Feeders and Sinkers should consider adopting, with or without formal participation in the Accords. We thank Emperor Pierconium and the Pacific Order for contributing to the advancement of this new paradigm, which we believe will bear much fruit.

The Osiris Fraternal Order would also like to congratulate Consul Aleisyr upon the happy news of his impending ascension to the throne of Pacifica. We stand ready, if requested, to support the transition of the Delegacy of the Pacific from the Emperor to his designated successor, and we look forward to continued positive relations with the Pacific governed by Aleisyr. Hail Pacifica!

Woot woot. Kinda unexpected but we all knew Ale was going to get a shot at the Delegacy of TP. I'm looking forward to his style of leadership, I do hope it's like Ivan's or better.
