Good afternoon Osiris!

My name is Gradea Sanguine and I wish to serve our region as Chief Scribe of Osiris.

But Gradea? Why should we vote for you over other candidates?

I currently am the Deputy pro tempore of the Council of Scribes, responsible for the administration of the Council in the absence of the Chief Scribe. As Chief Scribe, I will merely continue in the same role that I'm currently fulfilling.

I believe that I have the necessary skills and experience to serve admirably as your Chief Scribe. So in this upcoming Chief Scribe election, make sure to:

Vote Gradea!

Since before the Scroll of Ma'at was even ratified, I've granted the office of Chief Scribe the in-game status of Regional Officer, with the powers of Appearance, Communications, and Polls. Thus far those powers have not been used by the office of Chief Scribe. Would you make use of those powers and, if so, how?

Generally speaking, how would you reach out more to in-game residents to make them more aware of legislative activity and hopefully get them more involved as citizens?

Thanks and good luck!

One of the schemes I hope to bring in as Chief Scribe is a monthly newsletter which reports on the happenings of the Council of Scribes. This newsletter will be delivered by telegram to all nations in Osiris and will note any legislative changes (such as the passing and repeals of laws), confirmation votes of government officials and a list of citizens who have been admitted to the Council of Scribes in the past month. I believe this newsletter will provide Osirian nations a clear view of what's going on and hopefully encourage them to apply for citizenship.

Another idea that I hope to implement is the Slate of the Scribes. Similar to the Lazarene Record in Lazarus, the Slate of the Scribes will be a dispatch mantained by myself and my Deputies which will provide an ongoing summary of what's happening in Osiris. These include links to announcements by individual government officials, statements made on behalf of Osiris and any new legislation which has come into effect.

What would you do differently, than is being done now?

To be honest, not much. I will of course by implementing strategies to increase resident engagement in the Council of Scribes however, I will continue to run the Council as I have during my time as Deputy pro tempore.
