Dear Members,

I would like to apologize for being absent over the past few days. I normally do not like to go into OOC details about my personal life, but as these events hindered my activity here, I will explain what happened. The unit across the hall from my apartment caught on fire a couple days ago, requiring the evacuation of myself and my partner at 3am. Thankfully, our apartment was not damaged, but we have had to deal with cleaning our walls in the hallway which were slightly damaged.

Secondly, I thankfully have been hearing back from potential employers with regards to interviews. In contrast to the bad news story mentioned above, I'm hopeful that I will be spending productive time as a fully employed individual.

Now, on to business. We have a few things left we have to pass. I will be here to help steer votes ahead, until we elect a new Grand Vizier. I will be reviewing comments made in the various items up for discussion, and making sure we're ready to proceed.

Dali, glad to see you're back and you're okay. I'm glad you weren't hurt and your apartment wasn't damaged in the fire. Yikes!

Obviously, no worries about being gone. I gave assent to the Scroll of Ma'at in your absence, and elections have started, as you've seen. Will catch up with you on Skype soon to bring you up to speed on anything else you missed. Again, really glad you're okay.

Yikes, good to know all is well, and congratulations on the potential evolution into a fully-employed member of the adult world!
