ARR for chief vizier

Hello Osiris,
I'm ARR: Alliance to restore the republic, and I'd not be surprised if a lot of you haven't heard of me. After all, I only joined at the height of the war, when tentions were still extremely high and everybody was being forced to pick sides: the fact I decided to stay on is a testament to this region.
In the time I've spent in Osiris, I've found it a genuinely warm and welcoming community, unlike the false friendship that a lot of regions offer in their recruitment telegrams, I found that Osiris wasn't hiding its true nature from newcomers: that of a region which wants to move forward and create the best possible environment for its members that NationStates can offer.
If that is our goal, and I believe it is one we should be striving towards, I believe that I am the best man for the job, even if on the face of things I may not be the best qualified.
You see I've not been this position in that feeder. I've not been a director of something or a minister of whatever: since my old region, the silver isles, collapsed in 2013 I've limited myself almost exclusively to roleplay. But I believe that the skills you learn through roleplay; those of communication, teamwork and a shared vision; are the skills that can be used to make a huge and diverse region such as Osiris the best that it ever can be.
Being such a newcomer isn't necisarily a bad thing: I don't have personal loyalties to any few individuals: just to Osiris. If you would like to vote for me in return from a promised position in my cabinet, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere: this is not the campaign for you. But if you'd like to vote for me in return for a candidate fully dedecated to making Osiris the most that it can be, you're in the right place.
So, enough about me, and more about what I want to achieve.
I come to this election at a time when Osiris has suffered a dramatic loss in its active members. We don't have as much activity as I hear we once did, and I find that sad and detrimental. We've too long been divided by our thoughts on a particular election, and less united by our shared status as fellow Osirans as I feel we should be, and that's got to change. That's why I say that as chief Vizier I shall work to reconcile those of us who have felt that they cannot continue in Osiris, until we are a region which contains no broken friendship groups and no lingering divides.
In terms of foreign affairs, I will reach out to the wider community on nationStates and establish friendship. I feel that large regions, especially feeders and sinkers, have sadly ignored many smaller ones who have a great degree of potential to improve everybodys experience. This is why I'd like to set up a network of regions intent on improving each other, led by Osiris, and open to everybody, so that we may both offer them our expertise, and learn things which may improve our own region.
i'd also like to do better with my duties than the constitution mandates I must. As chief Vizier, I am mandated to inform the council once a month of what our government is doing. To me, a candidate who wishes to continually work to improve our region, this seems to be inadequate. This is why I pledge that if you elect me as your chief vizier, I shall give you at least bi-weekly updates of what I am doing in my work for you.
This is just a snapshot of my policies to make Osiris the region it could be: we are a truly great region, but I feel their is always room for improvement. And remember, I'm no special groups advocate: I don't hold with offering preferencial treatment for votes. I believe in democracy, I believe in respect, I believe in change, and most importantly I believe in Osiris.
All I ask is that you believe in me.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask hear and I shall answer to the best of my ability.
