Appointments to the Council of Priests
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 1(2) of the Scroll of Ma'at, I offer the following appointments to the Council of Priests for approval by the Council of Scribes. Given the importance of the office these four individuals will hold, in regard to both in-game security as well as criminal and civil hearings, I hope the Council of Scribes will examine these appointments in a deliberative manner before bringing them to vote. I will be happy to answer any questions any citizen may have, and I trust that my appointees will be happy to do so as well.
Joshua Bluteisen
Joshua Bluteisen has twice served as Pharaoh of the Osiris Fraternal Order, thrice served as Vice Delegate, and when not serving as Pharaoh or Vice Delegate has served long-term as a Guardian. He was obviously, given his regional influence, pivotal in the transition from the First Era of the Osiris Fraternal Order to our current system. He is one of our most trusted citizens and he should continue in his security role.
Neo Kervoskia
Neo Kervoskia made many positive contributions to Osiris during his prior time here from 2011-2013, and he has been a major contributor since his recent return as well. He made significant contributions during the drafting of the Scroll of Ma'at, he has gotten our media publishing at a more regular pace again, and there is no question that he is invested in this community. He will not only be an active in-game presence but will be active in criminal and civil hearings as well.
Tim Stark
Tim Stark has thrice served as Pharaoh of the Osiris Fraternal Order, and as the initiator of the recent transition, he was a key figure in bringing about the change to our new system of government. Although Tim will soon be resigning from the World Assembly, our constitution allows that flexibility, as he will still retain significant regional influence for many months and will be able to assist with in-game security thanks to the Border Control option for Regional Officers.
Zaolat
Zaolat served as the first, pre-constitutional Pharaoh of Osiris in 2011, and he has served on and off in various roles since then. Most recently, he has served long-term as a Guardian. While his lack of a computer has limited his ability to regularly tart, that situation will soon be ending, and despite his inability to tart he still has a significant amount of regional influence that, again, can be used through the Border Control option no matter his endorsement count.
I hope these appointments will prove acceptable to the Council of Scribes, and I look forward to your questions or other feedback.
