What are the main issues I'll address in my campaign?

Unity: Did you know that holding hands and general unification can lead to an increase in bug spray inhalation? Exactly! Vote Syl for Pharaoh!

The Dog Emoticon: LOOK AT THIS HORRIBLE THING! UGH. I WILL REMOVE IT FROM THE FORUMS WHEN I AM PHARAOH.

Whale Hunting: Japan banned it! Japan hardly bans anything! They're known as weird for a reason! But they banned whale hunting? Didn't they? I don't even remember anymore. But we can ban it, because SYL PHARAOH 2016.

Motorcycles: We will have a motorcycle thread. It will make us the best GCR in the game. MOTORCYCLES. IN. THREADS.

Anywho onto syl. Why have you decided not to give this campaign the respeCT it deserves by actually posting a serious platform instead of a sylly platform of jokes? Why should we vote for somebody who doesn't have enough respect for the office to make a serious platform especially in this time of division?

Completely Relevant as a joke when Syl's title was Don't vote for Ridersyl. There's enough to jump down Festavo's throat, don't you think?

On to the inquiry; This is a completely serious platform, Festavo! Puppies, motorcycles, and whales? If these are not serious issues to you, then I'm sorry, but you're not taking Osiris seriously like I am.

Joke campaigns are literally a mainstay of Nationstates politics. I myself have run more than I can count, and other major players who enjoy having fun such as Durkadurkiranistan have run dozens.

It's not a matter of "no respect", it's a matter of trying to lighten up what is clearly a very tense race. Obviously Syl isn't serious with this, it's a joke candidacy afterall. I therefore am not sure how this is at all similar to the Donald Drumpf campaign, which is both a very serious campaign that just takes incredibly extremist views with its matters, and still shows some amount of respect for the political process or it wouldn't be maneuvering it so well.

Anyways, Trump isn't the topic here, Syl is. I thought it was a great opening post and a rather funny joke campaign, and I fully commend Syl for running it and trying to give everyone some laughs
