Hedjet Nominations Pt. II

So, I was going to appoint these sooner, but I didn't want to take away from the primary focus of the PNG Bill.

I hereby nominate the following people for Scribe:
  • Severisen for Scribe of Security
  • Rogamark for Scribe of Justice
Severisen is self-explanatory.

Rogamark is what we call a "person I dragged from elsewhere". He's got a good grasp of judiciary proceedings, has already shown an accomplished knowledge of Osiran law, and is grudgingly getting involved.

Anyways, please approve them, and both of them can respond to questioning as can I.

I can't be the only one raising an eyebrow at the idea of nominating someone who is in Osiris "grudgingly", right?

Full support for both.

I may be remarking too loosely with my sarcasm and jest. I've got no question of Rogamark's character and I have full belief that he would give his full in the job necessary. I was attempting to make the reference of a Defender coming into a mostly-Invader region, as is the case with him, and it kind of fell apart given that I never initially established as much.

The good grasp of judiciary proceedings might be a result of having worked in the RL criminal justice system for six years, three of which as a judge. But the most important part of my credentials is quite obviously having defended Pharaoh in two Govindia v. Tim trials (or rather, trial attempts) in Spiritus.

I assure you I'm not in the habit of accepting nominations for positions I don't actually want. Yes, Osiris seems to be an odd choice for the president of a Defender region, but I can't think of a convincing reason not to get involved. Scribe of Justice is a position far enough away from core GP so there should be no conflicts of interest. And a Scribe of Justice with a generally grudging and slightly paranoid disposition can't hurt, not with all those nice people that have rejoined Osiris recently. No, I really want that job.

I think Rogamark will make an excellent Scribe of Justice, having witnessed his legal argumentation skills elsewhere. He's generally pretty fair minded as well so I don't see his gameplay alignment being an issue.

Not sure about that Sev guy though. Super sketchy. :P

[class=resident]Severisen Montresor[/class] makes Cormac disappear and saves Osiris from his evil grip.

Damnit, Sev, you know there's no using underage magic outside of Abydos!

Full support for Sev. However since I don't know the nominee for Scribe of Justice I will be abstaining from that vote.
