I'd like to discuss the possibility of the Deshret removing Shadoke's PNG status so he can return and stand trial. Shadoke was an Osiris Citizen who along with Syl was implicated in the destruction of the trivial Association of Imperialism forum(I would know I was cofounder of AoI). There has been recent talk of giving forum breakers a 2nd chance especially when its a one time mistake and not condemning them for eternity for one mistake. It has also been established that Shadoke was more the facilitator of the forumbreak he perpetrated along with Syl but he took the fall for it much harder. Rather than get into the details which many of you already know about my intention is to explore if the Deshret can extend clemency or perhaps some reduction in the ban to an individual who is repentant and who cared about Osiris both before & after these fateful events and whom I firmly believe could a great re-addition to our community here.

Little confused about what approach is needed because I found a Deshret PNG -> https://osiris.valthost.com/viewtopic.p ... 993/2/#new

And a Phaoronic PNG-> https://osiris.valthost.com/viewtopic.p ... 0867084/1/

If Festavo wanted to, he could rescind the Pharonic PNG declaration against Shadoke, but not the one issued by the Deshret. It would have to go through the legislative branch like any other bill.

As a Deshret Member, ive done what i can to know what he did to deserve the PNG's he got, I say leave him as PNG for the damage that he did, since he obviously sounded like he wasn't sorry for what he did when he was sentenced by the Deshret the first time.

Oh he was plenty repentant however at the time he was PNGed he was still covering for Syl and hiding his involvement thus taking the entire blame on his shoulders out of friendship which was a dumb move however decidedly not a malicious one. In fact the only way we knew of Syl's involvement was when he himself confessed his role in the forumbreak.

As Pharaoh, I openly support removing his PNG status so he can return and stand trial.

I motion to vote on a rescinding of Shadoke's PNG Status.

I feel like we should discuss this matter far more extensively before frivolously motioning to vote on it after the input of only a few members.

Regardless of my personal feelings for folks who may have committed forum destruction acts, whether I may like them or not, I support the PNG action. If I recall, Shadoke resigned specifically to avoid a trial unless I'm remembering incorrectly. I don't see the point of removing a PNG that was put in place because he specifically ran away from the option of a legal method of being removed from the region. He resigned and then was subsequently PNG'd, if he wanted a trial then he should have stayed.

I'm opposed to the removal of a PNG on Shadoke.

I understand your stance Tim but the reason he resigned and decided not to undergo the trial was more to cover Syl's involvement by taking it all upon himself this was not a great decision but it was not done out of a desire to subvert the legal process. In any case if the Deshret did agree to allow him to return he would still be standing trial and subject to whatever ruling is made by that process.

Not all forumbreaks are created equal he facilitated the destruction of a forum that I as cofounder of that region can tell you was little better than a glorified RMB. What I would like is for us to give him a chance to undergo trial and provide a road to redemption for an individual who we know is not a dangerous or unknown quantity but at worst is impulsive and loyal to a fault.

I feel Shadoke at the time wasn't as repentant, but since I've noticed he has felt the ramifications of his mistake and has learned from it in a positive way for NS. I'm for revoking the status, and if he joins here he must agree to the same conditions I had to.
