Defunct as of now.
Spoiler
Everyone here wants to see Osiris become a better place. I wholeheartedly believe this is the case.

But progress is happening at a snail's pace. For as long as the Fraternal Order has been in power, our delegate still has the fewest endorsements of any of the GCR's, our RMB conversations occur at a crawl, and out military endeavors –though glorious– are sparse.

If everyone wants the same thing, why are we not getting it?

It is because we lack a unified, specific vision of what we want Osiris to become, and a unified, specific plan for how to get there.

That's why I'm starting the Osiran Hope Alliance. It is a political party, but unlike most political parties, my goal is not to divide and galvanize the political process, but to unite citizens and organize the effort to achieve the one goal we all hold in common - making our region great.

How will having this political party make a significant difference to Osiris in endorsements to the pharaoh, increased activity, etc.?

In order to accomplish a task, you need to identify the desired outcome and formulate a plan to achieve that outcome. When it's a large task, you need to do those things while keeping everyone informed as to the outcome, the plan and their part in it. This requires some organization, and I hope the Alliance will provide both a discussion platform for identifying our goals and creating a plan and the organizational structure necessary to get everyone on the same page, working together to accomplish the large tasks in front of us.

A unified effort toward a goal is more effective than individuals working toward that goal separate from each other. With a big picture view we can be more than the sum of our parts.

As I said in #osi I'm getting flashbacks. Not good flashbacks. I've seen how this type of thing has played out before.

I fail to see how uniting behind a political party would be in anyway more conducive than proceeding through established means such as the Deshret to achieving "desired outcome".

And as I replied, I don't know anything about what you're talking about. Would you like to explain, please?

That's okay. If it doesn't work then it doesn't work. In my opinion, it's worth trying.

I certainly don't see this making things worse.
