Koth 4 Pharaoh

What's up, Osiris? My name is Ambroscus Koth, you may know me better as your root administrator and co-founder of this very region. Since the days of the KRO I've been lurking about, helping the region when I can and generally maintaining structure. I come before you today to run for Pharaoh of Osiris once more, to bring this region back from the snoozefest it's been lately.
Will I be successful in that? Well, it's up to all of us as a region to make that happen.
I haven't exactly been a paragon of activity in this region, that's for sure. Life's been nuts, lots of family trouble and college shit, trying to find a job, whatever. But I'm here now, and if you guys throw me into the seat I can promise I'll try to bring the OFO to the heights I envisioned during its inception.
Much like literally every other GCR, we have a goldmine of potential activity sitting right under our noses, in our region and on our RMB. We need to recruit our regionmates to the forum as much as we can, get them active in our revitalized activities. They're important, folks like them are what eventually ends up fueling Gameplay. Lord knows I used to just be some RMB-dwelling shmuck until I registered on my first regional forum. Taking that first step is often the introduction of an active player to our community. We need to make it happen. Getting people on the forum and KEEPING them on the forum is a top priority for me, because if we can make that happen, everything else on my platform becomes significantly easier as well as makes the region more and more of the awesome fraternal order I had in mind when I co-founded the government.
The roleplay section of this region has always been a problem child. Shit's hard as hell to get on its feet, but I'm gonna try jump starting it again and see if it can take off again. From my experience in this region's drunk dad, the Brotherhood of Malice, I can tell you that an active RP is an active region. I'll also be trying my best to spend my fair share of time in the spam section, because if we're being real, that shit is a huge part of endearing people to the region. If we can get roleplay rolling again, along with a fast paced spam section, we're partway to a better Osiris already.
As the delegate, I'd have primary responsibility over the gameside region. This means that to keep the region of Osiris entertained, I'll be throwing up constant polls, apparently that's the new fun thing to do. Even if they're retarded, people still eat that shit up. Against my best wishes, I'll also be tasked with keeping the RMB active and clean of any dipshits who think that we really wanna hear their explanation of why Hitler did nothing wrong or whatever. Yeah...not in my Osiris, buddy. I can't be awake 24/7, so I'll be appointing some folks in at least an unofficial capacity to help me weed out gameside troublemakers.
Something to note is that we don't have a Scribe of Foreign Affairs, which is really not good. We need to reinvigorate our FA, especially after a period of low activity. Maintaining relations with our allies is important to keeping our region relevant in the eyes of our friends, and by proxy the rest of the game.
Culture is a roller coaster in this region. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's dead. Osiris is a region with a lot to celebrate, and I think it's important to ensure a return to the days of routine cultural festivals and fun games. Perhaps we can even get a Minecraft server or something up like we used to have. Something to bring us together again.
The one thing that most people know me for is my military career in NationStates. It's my primary focus, and I daresay I'm good at it. I know the ins and outs of the R/D game, and I'll be putting it to use ensuring the continuation of a smoothly running Sekhmet Legion. Trust me when I say that there's a LOT of potential in raiding, and making sure that we're a feared military power makes us not only safer from people who wish to subvert our great region, but also help us appear useful to our allies in their time of need. I've got the know-how, all we need is the can-do from soldiers. An active GCR military is no laughing matter, we can see success in the form of the EPSA, which has greatly expanded the capabilities of The East Pacific. That's a model I want to follow.
This is a pretty fucking ambitious platform, especially coming from me, but I feel like we can accomplish these goals over the course of my term. This is your chance, Osiris, to help me accomplish the vision I had for this region when Venico and Cormac were at my side shaping this region from the ashes of the KRO. We've been content to settle for mediocrity lately, and I seriously don't blame us. It's easy to sit back and take the game in stride, lord knows I've done it plenty of times. But there comes a time when we as a region have to say that we aren't satisfied with what we've been accomplishing in the past, and move to a brighter future. Now listen, I've done a fuckload of writing tonight and quite honestly I'm sick of words. It's time for action. I'm all about action. With your votes, Osiris, we will move forward to put my plan into action.
Let's go.
