The Voter Registry

One of the first challenges I faced on becoming Keeper was that I had no idea of who had missed which votes. It is the legally mandated obligation of the Keeper to remove members of the Deshret who have missed four consecutive votes and I could not fulfill this duty with the lack of record keeping.

So I set about making this Voter Registry where:
  • A clear records of votes could be kept
  • A record which is viewable by members of the Deshret, so they would be aware if they were close to missing four consecutive votes
  • Making it easier for the Keeper to promptly inform Councillors to vote when they haven't voted in some time and/or are close to the four consecutive vote mark
The spreadsheet will still need some work, but hopefully, I and my Curators can attend to it.

I commend the Speaker for this Registry and am confident that it will prove to be a most useful tool.

I like it :)

I still have an old record that was kept by Vac during his tenure as Keeper.

What is your process for people who lose Councillor status? Do you keep them on the sheet? Is the goal to have a whole history of voting or keep track of current Councillors?

1) If I see they are close to the point of being removed, I try to contact them so as they do not lose their membership.

2) For a bit yes, in case they come back, but if not, they shall eventually be removed.

3) Keep track of voting and current councilors.
