Third Monarchist Treaty
Treaty of Friendship and Amity between Their Majesties the Emperor of The Land of Kings and Emperors, the König of The New Inquisition, the King of Albion, the King of Balder, the Pharaoh of Osiris, the First Lords of Ceseris, the Emperor of Denmark, the Emperor of Mazeria, the King-Emperor of The Kingdom of Great Britain, the Emperor of the New Galactic Empire, the King of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands and any other monarchs that may accede.-
Their Majesties, seeking to improve and consolidate the bonds of friendship and fraternity that monarchic regions have shared in the past, and in the hopes of benefiting their individual regions and peoples, have gathered to renew and reinforce these bonds by signing this, a general Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between their respective regions.
Article I
There shall be a firm and undeniable Friendship, Cooperation, and Correspondence between their said Majesties, Their Heirs and Successors, and Their respective Kingdoms, Dominions, Provinces, countries and Subjects, which shall be at all times maintained with mutual respect and good will; and the Contracting Parties shall at all times strive to achieve betterment for all their fellow signatories in areas of culture and regional interaction, in order to benefit all regions involved and their respective subjects.
Article II
There shall be established the Order of the Golden Fleece, which all signatory Monarchs shall be members of, that will work to organise and coordinate events between signatories and shall look to promote monarchism within NationStates. It shall be headed by two Grand Knights, one elected by and from the Monarch of Balder and the Pharaoh of Osiris, and one elected by and from the other acceding Monarchs. The Land of Kings and Emperors shall host any forum areas needed for the running of the Order. The Grand Knights may by joint agreement appoint and dismiss a Secretary of the Order of the Golden Fleece, from among the citizenry of the Parties, in order to support them in their work.
Article III
No obligations are created under the present Treaty between the Parties other than those expressly specified.
Article IV
The present Treaty shall be ratified by the respective Parties by whatever means pertain to their ratification process. If a Party does not accordingly ratify the present Treaty, then the provisions to the Treaty will not apply to them, although the Treaty will come into effect for those Parties who have completed ratification.
Article V
Other consenting Parties may accede to this treaty with notice to, and agreement by the existing signatories. A Signatory Party may withdraw with notice or shall in any case be released from the Treaty the moment their Monarchy is dissolved. In either instance, the Treaty shall remain in effect with the remaining signatories.
Article VI
The High Contracting Parties shall reconvene one year from signing of this Treaty, in The Land of Kings and Emperors, to celebrate the anniversary of this occasion. This does not prohibit, in any way, further conferences between the High Contracting Parties in the interim.
Article VII
Upon ratification, this treaty shall be the sole Monarchist Treaty, superseding any prior written documents describing a similar agreement involving the regions concerned.
In Witness whereof, We the underwritten, being authorized by the full powers of their said Majesties the Emperor of The Land of Kings and Emperors, the König of The New Inquisition, the King of Albion, the King of Balder, the Pharaoh of Osiris, the First Lords of Ceseris, the Emperor of Denmark, the Emperor of Mazeria, the King-Emperor of Great Britain, the Emperor of the New Galactic Empire, the King of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands have in their Names signed the present Treaty, and have thereto set the Seal of Our Arms. -
