Mid-Way Report

Hi Osiris,
So we're some way into the term now, and I think things have gone somewhat well. It hasn't been perfect, and we haven't gotten everything I've wanted, but there has certainly been progress. So, I'm just doing a quick run-down of what's been achieved so far, and what I plan to achieve going on further into this term. As always with me, I encourage any comments, questions, advice, or criticism. I may be the Executive Leader, but y'all are the citizens and it's as much your region as it is mine.

Other Big Thing
If you visit the IRC, or Skype, or Deshret, (which you should), you might have heard be going about changing to a Roman Empire theme. Yes, this might just be because I can't remember half of our Egyptian stuff, but I honestly love the Roman Theme way more than the Egyptian Theme, and we all must remember that since Egypt was a Roman Province for a while, it totally sticks with the theme. I dunno. This might just be me supporting it. Anyways, if I could get a show of support/dissent in this thread for that idea, that'd be amazing. If there's support, I'll try fleshing something out for it. Plus, our colors are already the same of Rome

Done so far this term:
- Damages of the O-L Conflict are being resolved, with embassies being re-opened with The Pacific, The South Pacific, The Rejected Realms, and Spiritus
- My endorsement count has now hit 93, and has been consistently growing. I hope to have it above 120 by the end of my term, and assuming I stand for re-election, plan to have it continue growing.
- It seems that our forum activity and RMB Activity has gone up. Statisticians call me out on this if I'm wrong
-sidenote here: I think that the regional polls are being taken well, and even silly questions like favorite potato chip flavor are creating some fun discussion - I haven't caused a diplomatic crisis yet. Honestly, I was expecting to have one by now, given my sarcastic defender nature.
- The World Assembly Forum seems more active! This makes me pleased, and I hope to see it be more active. I've actually got a draft of mine I'll be tossing there soon for us to check out.
To do:
- Get more Cultural Stuff going. I'm hoping to find time in my schedule to have us do a Movie Night on Google Hangouts, or something of the sort. Maybe Cards Against Humanity nights as well?
- Bring more people onto the RMB and Forum. I haven't been as regular as I've wanted to be with advertising the Forum, though Ainocra has been doing a stellar job, and I hope we'll be able to bring in more folks there.
- PR. I'll try to start doing mini-updates on the Gameplay forum regarding Osiris between our regular updates, as we're still kind of slow-moving and I think more bi-monthly than monthly updates. This'll keep our thread active there, and maybe draw more folks into joining us. Plus, I'm an attention whore. I want Osiris to get lots of attention because we need to be a cool status symbol, you feel?
- Sekhmet Legion. I'll be honest I'm not sure what I personally can do here given my affiliation. Zaolat is working on that for me in the most part right now, having recently been delegated responsibilities there, and hopefully we'll be able to get something together. I'll certainly look for targets though and do my hardest to recruit for it alongside the bringing people onto RMB/Forum.
