A new year, a new challenge

Good evening people of Osiris! It is I, the loveable, likeable, recognizeable, nation of Abacathea! Here to petition you, the fools, chumps, voters, for your vote for Pharaoh!

In all seriouness though, I will be making a run for Pharaoh for the coming term and figured it best to leave my agenda out in the open and let people decide for themselves if I truly am the huggable cuddly mofo I allude to being.

So, without further ado:

International Agenda:
It is my belief that part of Osiris's current stagnance is due, in part to it's closed off, sheltered nature. I aim to open diplomatic relations, start new bonds, and heal old wounds. In some respects, this might be seen as messing with the status quo, but perhaps given the current state affairs that is exactly what is required.

Army Agenda:
It is my intent, to form the Osiran forces into one of the strongest militaries it has seen to date, there may be some minor changes made to it in order to facilitate this, which, will be revealed at a later date, that notwithstanding, I believe it is time the legion lived up to its heritage.

I have a few in mind, but considering I'm contemplating a restructuring of the cabinet, a condensing to an extent, this is still only in deliberations at this time.

So far, I am considering the following departments:

War, International Affairs, Justice and Culture/Internal Affairs.

It is my belief that this should sufficiently cover the four areas that at the moment would need the most attention, branching out over time, as each one starts to make progress, to other areas.

How would citizenship be handled?

Citizenship would be open to any nation residing in Osiris. Vetting would be done by the Internal Affairs appointee and the deshret in the usual way.

There is a significant amount of regions in the "non treatied" list which could be beneficial to Osiris, TNP being one to name a few. The pacifics in general would be useful to interact with as culturally speaking they tend to be strong and active regions.

In terms of forging new bonds, that is the beauty of NS, there is a wealth of people to meet and interact with, and I aim to do so throughout my tenure should I achieve it.
