Osiris Fraternal Order

Hello everyone,

I'm back again! That's right I'm not quite that easy to get rid of.

First off a quick run down of my experience NS Wide:

The New Galactic Empire (an ally of ours): I served first as a Representative and then as the Chancellor of the Senate. I now serve as the Grand Moff (equivalent to the Prime Minister in the British Regions). I have also served as Vice Moff of Foreign Affairs, Moff of FA about a year ago and now as an interim Moff of FA, I also served as the first Moff of Imperial Affairs (basically Scribe of Security here plus some recruitment added in) and built that department up to where it stands now. I have also been key in massive reforms throughout the region which have really made the government more transparent and have massively improved upon democracy there.

United Kingdom: I have served seven terms as Foreign Secretary, two terms as an elected Member of Parliament (finishing out the second one currently), one term as an appointed Lord of Parliament, 2 terms as Home Secretary (Imperial Affairs in TNGE), and currently serve as the Superintendent of the World Assemby Bureau. I have also served as the Defence Secretary twice before and hold a degree in law from the University of United Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Great Britain: I have served 5 terms as an elected Member of Parliament and 3 terms as a Lord of Parliament. I have also served twice as Foreign Secretary.

Osiris: I served as the Joint Commander of the ISRA back when that existed, two terms as Keeper of the Deshret, and currently one term as Scribe of War.

As you saw above I have in fact served twice before as Keeper and became very efficient at keeping up with everyone's vote counts as well as keeping the roster updated, and keeping the new members flowing in.

As for my activity I do plan to be back on a permanent basis here now that my schedule has in fact leveled out. I'm here to stay Osiris!

1. Unlike other candidates, you haven't talked about the activity situation of the Deshret. How do you propose we fix this?

Well since Cormac has ALREADY brought up the need to reexamine the judiciary I would hope to work with him on this regardless of who wins (I do hope he would move forward with legislation on this regardless of if he wins or not.) I would also take part in, and encourage other members of the Deshret to take part in this discussion. As for on my own, I do plan to call for a total reexamination of the State Code of Osiris so that we may ensure that it is in fact up to date with current times in both Osiris and in the current climate in NationStates as a whole.

I would say judiciary but that would just be stealing from Cormac. Like I said I will be calling for a total reexamination of the State Code, I also plan to have the Deshret reexamine our rules for operating.

Should we be concerned regarding your extensive stretching across regions? Would this interfere with your serving of Osiris considering the current state of activity and if not, how can you be so sure?

First off I have to say it's great to see you again, been to long. (remembers all of those painful kicks )

Now to answer your question.

In reality I am not stretched to as far as it would seem. I currently only serve actively in TNGE, UK, KGB (to a point) and Kvatch though all I do is keep the recruiter running and sign legislation and call for elections, so that doesn't really stretch me to much. I believe that I proved I could actively contribute for about a term and a half where unfortunately what brought me down wasn't my activity across NationStates, but it was the fact that my schedule went into such a flux I just couldn't handle NS and keep up with the basics of life such as food and sleep which in spite of common belief, come before NS . That has settled down and I can now handle NS once again as I could before.
