I R ZAO, I R UR MASTER, U FEAR ME!
Alright, I joined Osiris on day one. Became the second delegate and the first Pharoah of Osiris. I brought in with many others I asked for assistance plus all the regulars who flocked into the region the Kemetic Republic. I served on the Kenbet (Courts) and the Council of Maat (Similar to Guardians in a sense but with a lot more power).
Faithfully served the region until the Gatesville coup. Which then coupled with stress I attempted to eliminate Biyah from the region or forum in this instance. Wasn't the best decision I made but there was a lot more to it and I wasn't being malevolent to the region. I did miss out on the Asta & rise of the OFO, but eventually I was forgiven and eventually I came back to Osiris under the OFO (Which I had supported while in self-exile at this point due to being forgiven to a degree).
I've been around for seven years, six of those I became heavily involved in gameplay/regional politics in general. I've served in nearly every position you can think of, and in many sorts of region (small-large UCRs) and GCRs.
In the past I was a defender, but never a moral one I just happened to meet up with defenders first and loved the challenge of facing off against raiders just for the sake of fun. Eventually I got tired of the defending world and I wasn't active much in the first place, so I moved on to have more fun with raiding.
I'm not going to outline policies or anything like that here, I play it as I go with a good idea of where I want to see things rather than meticulously plan everything all out (I like being flexible and getting a good team together to make to make those thought plans). I'll leave more details to answering questions from those reading instead.

Question 1: Rumours says Imperialism is finished in Osi Land. True, false? Will every imperialist region Osi has a treaty with be butchered and served wrap in fresh meat to the Dogs? I meant, will every treaty be finito?
Expanding on that question, What is your general idea for Osiris relationship with the rest of the world.
Question 2: Will you think for a while before doing something important + I hope you'll beleive in what you do. Never do something in which you dont beleive, or therell be another disaster.
Question 3: Anything special you want to change about the region? More authoritarian maybe? Power for life for you maybe etc?
ANyhow, I like you as a candidate/future dictator. Good luck.

Will you be more lenient towards criticism? Cormac has done many controversial things like PNGifying Nox and Ravenclaw, as well as his banishment of NES.
Also, seconding Bobby (<3), what will be your military policy? As in, will we build relations with the Imperialists Cormac said take us as puppets, go for a more independent stance or for whatever reason become defenderist and etc?

I'll echo one of Bobs questions. Since I have known you, you have taken criticism very poorly and take it as a personal affront against yourself, as you have seen, two out of the past three Pharaoh's have had this attitude and it doesn't end well and just causes more instability for Osiris. So that being said, will you actually take constructive criticism well?

1. False. First I want to state that a GCR is not 100% compatible with a UCR Imperialist ideology and neither with a Purist Raider ideology. That is not to say considering one's region Imperialist/Raider is a redundant move, it just means that there are going to be differences in how the GCR operates overall when compared to those ideals.
There is no need to remove alliances and friends. While Osiris should never be beholden to anyone but it's own, others must understand that we cannot operate quite like them but neither must we operate completely separate from them. The TRR NAP is a perfect example. When I imagine in a more raider purist mindset and as Venico has once argued, there would be no need to ally or be too friendly with defenders. When I imagine from imperialists, depending on which group/individuals it will be argued that they're the enemy or that we need to be more cautious in how it affects our face as a region and our policies.
As a GCR though, while it isn't necessary to ally, I do believe it is necessary to have good terms assuming we aren't as friendly. While having a NAP with TRR or lacking one wouldn't bother me in the slightest, but as a GCR unlike UCRs it is more important to us to reach out to a degree. We are not UCRs or independent organizations so decent relations are a must.
2. Back in my old days in Osiris, I was always a voice of reason, I had to be the unbiased voice between everyone, this would have been more apparent behind the scenes dealing with many disputes between citizens and the government itself. Lyanna vs Biyah was a massive headache, but I helped prevent escalations that could have destabilized the region when it was in a decent state in general. My personal way of dealing with things is that sometimes you need to be ruthless and others you must be lax, but that always must be carefully considered. I'm cautious and analytic by nature.
3. I'm not interested in being Overlord for life. Despite drama and problems we've had from KRO to OFO, our system has been okay. What I want to do is solve our current issues we have from recent events and strengthen our self-sovereignty. Nothing will ever be easy, but I want to see another golden age for Osiris, but under the OFO instead of KRO without the corrupted and subversive elements of the past.
1. Lenient? There is a time you must stand up for what's right to you people and region, but trying to fight everyone goes nowhere. As I have learned with my ex-gf; everything must be considered before running your mouth, agreeing, or fighting with anyone. I'm not for unilaterally taking people out of the region without very good reason. This is a game, there will be politics, but it doesn't need to be personal. (Govinidia and Tyler Kazakov are exceptions since they cross over the line with personal). I don't see any reason why Nox, Raven, nor NES deserve banishment.
2. I've always been neutral and pro-raider for Osiris. In the beginning I was a defender, so I had to be neutral in order to not have any sort of defender bias. When Osiris decided to raid, I was for it. We were neutral at first then independent. I see no need to change our Imperialist/Raider view, only define it based on being a GCR as I had responded to Bob a GCR cannot completely share a UCR Imperialist/Raider Purist ideology. When Cormac, NES, & Venico argued over the TRR NAP all of them were both correct and wrong in their arguments. To be a Pro-Raider Imperialist GCR, how we work needs to be unified not divided. Else we put out various cititzens.
:1. I understand where you're coming from, for two reasons; problems between you & I and United Kingdom. I can tell you with UK it was something entirely different and you should know exactly how frustrating that environment could be. I remember your complaints you had of UK you've spoken. As for us, I've sent you an apology a week back or so.
When it comes to Osiris, it's different and you'll see why sometime. I'm not here to fight nor cause trouble, but instead make us work and be something that we all can be proud of.

Zaolat,
Reading your answers, I'd like to know what you see as a viable path in establishing or re-establishing the relations with other regions--particularly with fellow GCRs.
Also you mentioned having a general vision, but no specifics on plans. Could you breifly describe that? Basically, if you could, tell us where we'll be going for the rest of 2014 with Zaolat in the throne.
Thanks, and best of luck.

This may be belated, but I've been thinking this over. For reasons I won't explain I am withdrawing from the race and endorsing Joshua Bluteisen. I will still be around the region, so no worries about a RL incident or anything. A part of me also wants to see how Joshua does as Pharaoh.
