The Transition

Ahoy hoy.
Recent events in Osiris have tested us. A man I hold in deep respect, Cormac, has resigned his position as Pharaoh of Osiris. This leaves me, his former Vizier as the current Pharaoh.
We are currently in the beginning stages of an election to determine his replacement, but that doesn't negate the trials we face now as a community. Osiris is strong, it's weathered much in the past that would bring less resolute regions to their knees. We will persevere.
To that end, I have some news: I am glad to report that the OFO will be attending the Independence Conference currently being held in Europeia. This conference will do much to help us emphasize the independence part of our Independent/Imperialist gameplay alignment.
Beyond that though, I've spent some time talking to our allies in Balder, and we've come to a conclusion. While our alliance is still of paramount importance, the ISRA as it stands is not working. We have come to the conclusion that a dissolution of that joint military is the only real option. To that end, the Joint Commander of the ISRA, under direction from both myself and the Monarch of Balder, will no longer be running military operations under the ISRA banner. The independent militaries of both signatories are still fully capable of cooperation(and indeed we encourage such), but they will operate as independent entities for the immediate future.
Furthermore I will shortly be introducing an amendment to the Treaty of the Old Gods to the Deshret, as will Balder to their legislature, to remove the ISRA language from the treaty.
Osiris is strong, and together we will persevere.
Treize Dreizehn, Pharaoh of Osiris.
