Its community is dying though, and most of them are going to move en mass to alternate versions of it that are cropping up on October 1st. The reason is, its admins and newly minted moderators are starting to censor the entire site to make it more "safe". Most of the mods are new because the old mods didn't agree with the admins' censoring and thus got the boot.

Most of the migration is either to the "original 4chan", the Japanese one that moot translated and brought to America, which is "2ch.net", or to a new 4chan clone called 8chan.co (not a typo) which is banned from being mentioned on 4chan at the moment.
