I'm sorry, but Osiris is taking a nosedive and I'm jumping off of a sinking ship, and if you were smart, you would too. Goodbye Osiris. I hereby resign my position as a member of the Deshret and my citizenship.

Thus far, the only active citizens we've lost are Applebania and Nox. These are regrettable -- though Nox's way of leaving was classless and deserved exactly the response she received from me -- but the other citizenship resignations were dual Lazarene citizens who were never really active here.

Tim was active before he was a citizen.

I don't know. Whether the citizenship of someone who had for months prior been PNG from this region by decision of the Deshret is actually valuable is up to everyone to determine for themselves. I was disappointed that after so many of us tried so hard to get Tim's PNG repealed, his decision was to resign citizenship in favor of our enemy. His PNG declaration probably wasn't as bad an idea as some of us thought it was.

Well, I still think its repeal was justified. The reasons behind Tim's PNG were not strong enough to justify its existence, and once in, he provided a source of much-needed levity. He will be missed, by myself if no one else.

Nox from what I've seen in this thread and in other places I must say that you are going out in a way that leaves much to be desired in terms of class. I am truly sorry that you felt that you had to behave in this manner on your way out rather than the other citizens caught in the crossfire who just want to ride out the war. That being said, I'll be frank with you, I am highly disappointed.
