THIS MONTH'S OOC HAPPENINGS:
- Amendment/rewrite of the constitution (the TACOs) still underway.
- Relations with Wintreath opened.
- Ikarius announces this will be his last term as RP Minister for now; launches a new OOC news paper the Oracia Compendia.
- Super map update nearly complete.
THIS MONTHS IC HAPPENINGS:
- Carpathia meets with Goldecia and Margatria as changes to the international situation continue to upset continental power blocs.
- Rumours of a Nysan Economic Union surface.
- Carpathia and Aurentina locked in war of words over the election of conservatives to power in Aurentina, and the institution of what Carpathia calls "anti-democratic economic reforms".
- Medo-Kubaniza passes bill enfranchising the citizens of its Makorland colony to allow them to elect representatives to the Imperial Senate.
- The Alma Materi, leader of the Almananist religion, is assassinated by as yet unknown parties
- The tiny town of Sydlunder declares independence from Lanlania under leadership of unemployed gun-enthusiast.
- Mestran Imperium launches 8th supercarrier.
- Oerthan crown engulfed in political battle over environmental laws, with parliament stalling on the King's proposed changes.
TALK OF THE REGION:
This month has been interesting, to say the least. Our amending of our constitution is still under way (this time on a second issue), with a poll run to work out what people want to see combined between 3 different proposals. Meanwhile Nysa has seen the return of one of its founding members, Battlion, and there was a proposal to change the regional flag - which got no where, like the last few proposals over the years.
Our forums have been abuzz with the most important event of the year; the Steam sales of course! Between bragging about buys and reviewing games that were on sale, the forums came alight with lots of discussion on it. Other popular topics during the month were the FIFA world cup and people's star signs. Their is also rumour that a new games-related show from Oracia Media will be coming out soon.
WELCOME TO NEW PEOPLE AND REGIONAL ANNIVERSARY
We are happy to welcome back Antracia and Battlion, old members who have returned! Also July 29th will mark the anniversary for both Caprecia and Nysa (Whom by chance just happened to be founded on the same day at different years. It seems destiny would lead us to unite as one over time....)
