Applying to House BrightAxe

You stand before Lord Venico, the Warrior Pharaoh. His thick shoulders, corded arms, and scarred face tell you that he is no stranger to battle. Ever Dwarven in nature, his beard comes down to his belt and seems to be turning silverish near the roots. Venico eyes you over once or twice and rests his hand on the axe for which his house is named. Its handle is dark, almost black, and you can't tell whether it is made from wood or stone but its base is bound in leather for grip with an almost spear like pommel. The head is doubled and is made of some material that appears white and gives off a faint glow, but it might be your eyes.
The Lord of Giza clears his throat and looks you in the eyes. "Tell me why I should bring you into my family. Tell me how you've earned a place at my table and a statue in these halls." His hand gestures to the stone walls that surround you and the pillars that reach into the darkness above. Not placed there to support the ceiling, but carved from the stone itself. Faces of old warriors and stalwart defenders line up as you look around. Each one has a name engraved beneath and a list of their accomplishments. "Tell my why you deserve this honor."
Stroking his beard, he continues. "House BrightAxe is not one of prestige or pomp. We are not known for our great artists, or scholars. All are welcome in these halls but we are known for warriors, and leaders. Dwarves who not only can hold the line but can charge forward and rally against all adversity. We raise our banner high and people follow. They not only have confidence in us, they trust that we won't lead them astray." Venico pauses and looks directly into your eyes. "And we don't." He stops and awaits your response.
