The Karnak has been sent to find the U.S.S. Halifax, an Oberth-class science vessel, that has been missing for a week, it was last seen in the Briar Patch. Your captain has asked your opinions on how to find the missing vessel.

Hmm... well, long range sensors would be a start. I would like to know more of the properties of this phenomenon called the Brier Patch, though.
