The King is Dead! Long Live the New King!
King-Emperor Matthew Vinage gives his oath to Mazeria. It was a dark time for Mazeria as King-Emperor Frederick I Vinage was declared dead due to inactivity last month. Immediately after his death was announced, there was a tribute to the fallen King and Emperor, the first Monarch of the Kingdom of Mazeria. The following week, Crown Prince Matthew Vinage ascended to the throne at his coronation and became the second Monarch of Mazeria, King of the Kingdom of Mazeria and Emperor of the Empire. The Coronation was followed by cheering and celebrations as the people of Mazeria welcomed their new King and a new era of activity and prosperity.
A Change in Office
PM Cerebella talks about plans for the remaining term. After a week or so after the General Elections, Prime Minister Thomas Calloway resigned due to real life issues, resulting in the ascension of the WA Delegate and Chief Justice, Aaron M. Cerebella. Soon after Aaron M. Cerebella became PM, he made several changes to his cabinet. He first removed himself as WA Delegate and appointed Milroman to take over the position, thus securing the 1st in line for the office of PM. Then the Prime Minister removed Edmund Mikaelson as Foreign Secretary and he then filled the position himself after there were no takers. The term carried on as usual afterwards but it did see a decline in activity from the executive. However, the efforts from the Emperor and the Imperial Secretary have paid off and the two have created the Imperial Assembly which is under construction. The Prime Minister does have plans for the Foreign Office which he intends to implement within the coming days and is working with the citizens on the Coat of Arms of Mazeria.
One Wild Year!
Celebrations begin. It has been one year since the creation of the Kingdom of Mazeria and it is safe to say that it has been a wild one. To honour and celebrate such a milestone, the Kingdom of Mazeria is hosting a festival in which everyone across NationStates is invited. The year has had its many ups and downs for Mazeria but now we are celebrating in a time of activity, community spirit and happiness. The Festival has already begun with a speech from the Emperor of Mazeria, Emperor Matthew Vinage, and festivities are underway with a booming spam area, games and even a short story contest! We hope to see you here!
