Osiris Fraternal Order

I resign my citizenship in the Osiris Fraternal Order and, obviously, as root administrator of this forum. Ambroscus Koth succeeds me as root administrator. I have every confidence that he will manage the administrative team fairly and that the strong precedent of admin non-interference in this community will continue with him as root administrator.

My reasoning for this decision is simple: GCR communities have proven toxic to me. They have ruined any enjoyment I've been able to derive from this game. I am leaving every single GCR in which I'm a citizen, and I won't be back.

I do care about this region, entirely too much, and I wish all of you the best. But this is a decision I need to make if I'm going to continue to enjoy this game at all or even continue playing it. I hope all of you will understand that, and I hope Osiris will continue to prosper under Pharaoh Lord Ravenclaw as it has thus far and that you will all return to that cooperative spirit that prevailed during the early days of the OFO.

Sorry that you had to be driven to this, C. Osiris will miss you more than they may think right now.

My appointment as root administrator may come as a surprise to some, but I want to assure everyone that my non-involvement with the politics of this region should not raise any concern about my ability to lead the admin team with a fair hand. Keeping myself emotionally distant should probably prove to be the best approach, really. I won't intervene with the admin team unless there are disputes that need to be settled.

But enough about that. Osiris is losing their star player today. The community will miss your work.

I understand well Cormac and suggest that you are experiencing a little burnout. Perhaps you will reemerse yourself at a future time within more manageable means. Even if not, I wish you well in your new direction and know we will talk again soon.
