Statement on Tyler Kazakov

It has come to my attention that Tyler Kazakov has committed an act of administrative abuse in the region Mazeria, using his access to the Root Administrator account to ban several accounts without any authorization to do so. Although voluntarily granted access to the Root Administrator account some time ago, his Root Administrator access was granted for the purpose of assisting in establishment of the regional forum and was not intended to be permanent. I therefore view his accessing of the Root Administrator account on the Mazeria forum as an act of Phishing, a violation of the Convention on Offsite Property Security and, more importantly, a violation of the near universal norms accepted by the NationStates community against offsite property destruction -- norms accepted even by those who, like us, have not ratified COPS.

This is also not the first time that Tyler Kazakov has committed an act of offsite property destruction. It has been determined that he was also responsible for porn spamming the forum of The Kingdom of Great Britain a few weeks ago, after gaining the password to another individual's forum account through hacking. This constitutes not only an additional act of Phishing but also an act of Crashing, the most serious of offenses under COPS.
Tyler Kazakov has already been banned from the Osiris Fraternal Order forum since it was brought online on 10 December 2013 because of his persistent harassment of members of our community. Nonetheless, I want to make the terms of his ban very clear as an official statement of administrative policy. For his persistent harassment of members of our community and his multiple acts of offsite property destruction elsewhere, it is the determination of the Root Administrator of the Osiris Fraternal Order forum that Tyler Kazakov constitutes a grave threat to the security of the Osiris Fraternal Order forum. He is to be permanently banned from the Osiris Fraternal Forum under all IP addresses, e-mail addresses, and aliases that are discovered to belong to him.
Users of the Osiris Fraternal Order forum are advised that Tyler Kazakov has gained access to others' accounts for the purpose of offsite property destruction through use of hacking. Users are encouraged to use passwords that use a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation characters, not only on their forum accounts but on the e-mail addresses associated with their forum accounts. Administrators and moderators will be required to use such passwords for the security of the forum.
Users of the Osiris Fraternal Order forum are encouraged to report any information that would assist in strengthening the ban against Tyler Kazakov to me or to another administrator through private message immediately upon discovery of such information.
