From time to time I write songs for use in worship, or to comment on events in the region. Here is the first.
What better song to begin with than a hymn based on the Bangles classic "walk like an Egyptian".

In the time when Lord Ravenclaw
was the Pharaoh , don’t you know
I came from TNP (Oh-Way-Oh)
To write a hymn and to say hello.
We’ve got a Temple and we’ve got a fiqh
where folks can get arbitration
Bit like a court (Oh-Way-Oh)
But the trials have a shorter duration
Foreign types have now lost the right to Fiqh:
Way-oh-way-oh-way-ooo-aaa-ooo...
so I’ll walk like an Osirian.
The Forum’s full of Temples and of priests
They form the council of the Hedjet
They've got the scribes (Oh-Way-Oh)
But we’ve got no vizier as of yet
The North Pacific voted to deny
they want a region that’s so secular
Well that’s their loss (Oh-Way-Oh)
Lost the temple to a competitor
All the folks in TNP say:
Way-oh-way-oh-way-ooo-aaa-ooo...
Wanna be an Osirian.
there’s gonna be hymns and scriptures too
So check back every now and then
Offer up a prayer (Oh-Way-Oh)
And end the prayer with a loud amen
hedjet, deshret, Pschent and Atef
they’re hard to rhyme, harder still to say
Blame Douria for that (Oh-Way-Oh)
Egyptian theme is the order of the day
North Pacificans with their laws
The NPO defies description
South Pacific knows (Oh-Way-Oh)
Want to walk along like Osirians
All the feeders turning green say :
Way-oh-way-oh-way-ooo-aaa-ooo...
Wanna be an Osirian
Wanna be an Osirian

The Flemingovian Hymn book
So, we have closed our embassy with the region the British Isles. Unsurprising, considering who is now Viscount Montgomery of Alamein in Hindhead in their upper house. We in Osiris do have SOME standards.
So here is a hymn. It is “hail and Farewell To Britain", based on a song of the same name by the great Gothic/ Doom Metal band Type O Negative. Crank up the volume and sing along.

Once upon a slime I thought you royalty
I would never have closed your embassy
Don't act so surprised, Govindia’s so despised,
That he’s a Viscount is now the problem essentially.
Up until recently never had a clue
In a way I must admit I pity you
I'm through with you kind, 'cause you've wasted my time
Please do not release them, Lord knows what they do
I can't believe you don’t know how Govindia is
Emotional blackmail makes me sick, oh so sick
Who is to blame for constant shame on you?
These words I use don't confuse with cool
This closure not lost but won deserved
Choosing is hard careful which God you serve
Traitors many, surrounding me cowards
Conspiracy so clear to see flowers
We were brothers 'til discovered deceit
Tried with treason that's the reason you're beat
I can't believe you don’t know how Govindia is
Emotional blackmail makes me sick, oh so sick
All hail and farewell to Britain, all hail and farewell to thee
All hail and farewell to the embassy, all hail and farewell to me

The Flemingovian Hymn book
A new hymn, at the request of the Pharaoh who asked for something uplifting and inspiring for the region. The song that immediately came to mind was "I dare you to move" by Switchfoot.
Not my best hymn, but I love the original song... sing along
"Dare You To Move"

Welcome to Osiris
Welcome to the region
Everyone's here
Everyone's here
Everybody's watching us now
Everybody envies us now
What happens next?
What happens next?
[Chorus]
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift the region up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like Gatesville never happened
Douria never happened before
Once there was just fallout
Once there was resistance
The tension was here
Tension was here
Between who we were and who we could be
Between how it is and how it should be
[Chorus]
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift the region up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like Gatesville never happened
Douria never happened before
Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift the region up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like Douria never happened
Douria never happened before
