Osiris Fraternal Order

As you may have noticed on various trips to other forums, some of them will have images in the forum descriptions.

I'm keen to brighten the board up a bit, to make it appear more friendly, and welcoming to the region, and to do that. I'd like some images to go with it.

So, Artists amongst us, can you create a set of images for our forum?

The images must be large enough to be visible, yet not too large so you can still fit a decent length description beneath it. Preferably in an Egyptian theme - but that's not a necessity.

I agree we need to improve in this area.

I've been speaking to members of the Oracian Government (Caprecia and Nysa) over their theme, and their RP minister will be contacting me shortly over it.

(The theme is Edge, and is an entirely customised version of another theme found on Zetaboards support)

Forums should have three colors, in order to make it a little vibrant. Any smaller (like the two colors, black and grey, found above) it feels kind of boring. And the dark colors don't make it feel welcoming- I would probably stay away from it if I was a newbie looking for a region.

Any more colors and it's too complicated, and also looks a little amateur. My ideal would be one dark color, one light color, and one of either in the theme we have going (such as the flag's colors or something).

This--you want two colours or shades to create some depth and a third for character and personality.

Obviously some minimal skins are nice (I tend to use them when available), but most people are attracted to shiny stuff.

Additional skins or improvements to our current forum skins have my full support. Any of the admins are free to install new themes or make improvements to existing ones, as long as they're careful to save current copies of the existing ones before they start working on them.

I'm all for adding images. Not very artistic myself, but all for helping come up with ideas if someone has the artistic ability.
