A few words from the bum

Hey folks. As you see, I've re-masked myself to Citizen in preparation for the new regime of the esteemed Lord Ravenclaw. The first elected official under a government I helped put into effect.
It feels kind of odd.
Not odd in a bad way, not at all. I feel accomplished. I feel like I've done something good for a whole lotta dudes. This new order, the Fraternal Order...the product of a group of people who were sick and tired of being manipulated and threatened. It's been an honor fighting for this region. It's been an honor serving as your Pharaoh. I won't lie to you all and pretend I've done a good job as Pharaoh, not at all. This region has come far since then. It amazes me, honestly. And it's a damn shame I haven't really done much for it in my capacity as a leader. Your warrior Pharaoh, my dearest friend Venico, is the one to thank for this opportunity, this new chance to show the world that we're not just a coup-happy bunch of chucklefucks. Your Vizier, Cormac, is the one to thank for these forums and the structure of our new government. This couldn't have been possible without his dedication. Our dear ex-Empress, Detective Figs, is the one to thank for her ideas on how this region should be run and her valiant attempts to make it better. Not to mention her selfless donation of her influential nation to yours truly in order to make this new order possible.
But me? There's not much to thank me for. So I'm going to thank you guys instead. Thanks for giving me this new feeling. The feeling of accomplishment. The feeling that for once in NationStates, I've actually made a real difference. You're all the ones to thank. As we move into a new tomorrow under the leadership of our new Pharaoh Lord Ravenclaw, I finally no longer fear for the future of this region, I no longer feel like everything is going to go wrong. I feel comfortable that Osiris is now in good hands.
And thus, I move on.
