"You forget I am from Heraf. I was raised a nomad, camels my whole life." Rashidi replied to Hasan, smiling.

He examined the boat and the passengers, hoping that nobody was on their own expedition, before turning to Shar.

"Is there a limit to the water you summon? And an extension to that question: Did you learn how to summon it or were you born with it?"

"There is no reasonable limit to the amount of water I can summon over a given day, outside of time," Shar began, "I could provide enough water daily for a group three times this size fairly easily, but my abilities are above average in that regard."

Shar found a place to sit down before continuing, "I wasn't born with the knowledge of the Seidr exactly, but rather, I was born with a potential for that knowledge. The Priesthood of Thor then trained me in the particular fields they felt best suited my personality and abilities. What about you scholar? Where'd you learn to ask so many questions?"

Valk stepped onto the ship and leaned against the main mast, listening to the conversations around him. I love the water. he thought to himself. If only these waters led to Claire...

Kelikon walked onto the ship and made himself comfortable yet again with the gentle sway of the river.

Nowhere to escape to...sounds fantastic.

Rashidi saw the question in front of him. He knew the answer, there was fact in it and it was simple. He preferred another type of question, one needing thought to ponder over. Suddenly he found himself standing there looking up at the sky, seemingly ignoring Shar, and answered the man. "I was tutored by my father whilst we traveled around Osiris, who in turn was tutored by his father. We are a long line of scholarly individuals, no need for fancy universities but experience of the world around us. I also have to give credit to my dear old brain, and the fascinating memory skills I have. The scientific community has somehow understood galaxies beyond us, the stars and the planets millions of light years away, learning regularly of all its wonders, yet we are baffled by the human brain and the beauty it contains. We may truly never know what a dream is, and how the mind creates it, but unanswered questions are, in my opinion, the greatest of questions. For theories will always be made, and answers will naught be found, but all may put forward their idea and hold it among the ideas of geniuses. I'm sorry, am I rambling too much?"

Hastein chuckled to himself as he slowly rode down to the dock. He'd attracted a following of street kids but got rid of them by throwing a few coins behind him, laughing as the urchins fought over the money.

He saw the motley band that he was going to be travelling with and sighed. He wasn't getting paid enough for this and he already missed his home city. He murmured a Joms prayer that his father taught him before travelling down to join the group.

"I will not need a hired camel." He announced as their plan was announced.

Rashidi stared as Hastein, confused about his comment. "What a phenomenon, legs of ultimate speed! We are not riding them for relaxation, we need to get there fast, Hastein. Showing off your willpower is not why we came here." He took a second to think about what he was saying. "I apologize if I offended you, but I truly think it did not. You seem like a strong man. Tell me, how is your day to day lifestyle?

Dorian continued to observe, he was pretty much game for whatever was going on at this stage and had met a rather interesting bunch. His interests lay more so in seeing what transpired with these new strangers.

V looked at the scholar as if he had three heads. "Are you so lost in the clouds that you cannot see in front you? He is RIDING his own camel." Valks closed his eyes and shook his head thinking about how it was always the intelligent ones who never had any common sense and never lasted long.

"Scholar, your joke seems to have fallen flat,"

Shar laughed anyway.
