"Ah, so we're leaving then." Rashidi spoke, seeing the group make its way towards the door. He grabbed all of his wares and put his rarely used dagger back into his belt. Since he had nothing to drink, he would not need to pay. Despite this he felt obligated to, especially after the ruckus the group caused, so he dug into his bag and found a jewel- one of the small artifacts he carries, though not a rare or particularly old one - and placed it onto the table. He strolled happily behind until he realized his position and rushed to the middle of the group, surrounded by people who can defend themselves.

"To the docks of Thebes then! We must cross the great river and then head due north. The ruins lie around 25 leagues in that direction. If you need last minute provisions, now is the time to get them. We will assemble for the ferry in four hours time."

Dorian acknowledged the instructions and headed into town to pick up a few last minute supplies.
He stopped into the apothecary and a few different shops over the course of the next four hours before heading for the ferry. Seeing he was the first to arrive he drew what could only be described as a long thing piece of paper, clicked his fingers causing it to spark and ignite, and began to inhale the vapors while he waited.

Hasan arrived at the dock and nodded to Dorian. "Glad to see you're nice and early. We need to head off as soon as possible."
Hasan looked about him to check no one was around and listening in before drawing closer to the Mage. "I've spent the last few hours pumping contacts for information. From what I can find it seems there are at least two other groups heading to Vargin. The first I could find out nothing more than that they exist. The second I found out that they left only this morning. It seems they don't have a water summoner with them so they'll have to take the longer route by the oases to refresh their supplies. I propose we take the direct route to the Abain oasis, 10 leagues south of Vargin, set up an ambush and, eliminate, the opposition there."

After exploring Thebes, Rashidi bought six loafs of bread and some bandages- hopefully without needing to use them. He walked over to the dock and saw Hasan speaking to Dorian. He stared awkwardly at Dorian and said "What... what are you smoking?"
He slowly moved forward with his hand slightly stretched out, as if he wanted to touch the burning paper, completely ignoring Hasan.

"You know, I figured I might end up back here before the day was out," Shar said to the attendant at the door of the Guildhouse.
"We appreciate you coming back, Sir." The attendant replied while shifting his weight from his left to right foot.
"Yeah. You know if any others headed out today?"
"Three summoners like yourself, actually," The attendant knew enough to be vague. Shar liked that because it meant the man wouldn't give him up easily. But on the other side of things, it meant he couldn't get any good info out of the man.
"Three? Not usually that many caravans leaving in a day, even from here,"
"No sir,"
"Can you tell me anything else?"
"You know I can't sir,"
"Yeah," Shar nodded to the attendant and headed inside the guild to pick up a few things for the trip.

Shar arrived at the docks and saw the masked man huddled with the scholar. Shar moved in closer as he yelled, "Hail! Anything I should hear?"

Dorian looked at Hasan, and nodded politely, before turning to Rashidi, "it's a herbal extract from a plant native to a kingdom long since destroyed. I learned how to cultivate it and have planted it in a few locations where I have traveled to. It serves those who wield elemental powers well as it helps prevent the mind from being overrun, to the regular individual it simply calms the mind. It's pleasant but not mental state altering to any significant degree".
Extending his arm he offered some to the two assembled. "I have enough to do us the journey, and as lightning is one of the stronger elements, I'll need it, lest I fry myself alive" he chuckled grimly "but hey, i can always reanimate my corpse right?". He chuckled again grimly, sensing the other two wouldn't get the humor he smiled under the hood, unawares neither of the others would see it.

Valk melted out of the shadows behind some stacked crates and slid into position next to Hasan. "Ambushes and assassinations are in fact my specialty."
V hadn't spent his day getting information however. He had been in prayer to Delmoar for the most part. He also sent a letter back to Claire with a merchant who was on her way to Romule in a few days. It was all in code of course but at the bottom he signed, "With love, V".
"I'm game to get there as quickly as possible. The longer we have to prepare a trap the better."

Kelikon had retreated to a small Zeira shrine where he was performing a ritual prayer to Clomadis prior to departure. He had all the supplies he would need for himself in his pack and so had some time to clear and prepare his mind. He saw the hourglass in the shrine drain almost to the end and returned to the docks where he saw the others congregating.

The ferry pulled up against the pier, with the dock men frantically scurrying to get it tied down. Once it was tied down and the passengers from the previous journey were off, Hasan and the small party of adventurers got on, receiving a number of enquiring glances in the mean time.
Turning to his group Hasan said, "I've arranged for us to hire camels from the dock the other side of the river. Once on them, we ride like the wind. I hope no one has any issues with fast camel journeys" he said turning to face their resident scholar.
