"Color... color..." Rashidi thought of his short exchange with Valk. Suddenly he had an epiphany "So this fellow with red eyes is a danger... yet Hasan's yellow eyes draws no full threat. Maybe a half-threat but none of you have drawn a weapon to him. Hmm... maybe it's the colors, not the magic." he stood up, with his hand to his chin. "You subconsciously see red as a threat- psychologically linking the color with blood, anger, and violence. The paleness of his skin is an unknown color, what with the tanned people of the desert we see regularly, and what is unknown is to be suspected. Then there is his black robes- the shadows where your enemies hide and what you all look out for. If this gentleman wore white and had green eyes, yet still possessed the same powers, I suspect you wouldn't be drawing weapons. Sure, your trust would not be strong- maybe instead of weapons you'd all be asking threatening questions, but color plays strong in this conflict."

Hastein pulled a small coin sized piece of metal from his robes. The metal was hot to the touch. He flipped it towards Rashidi. "Hold onto that for me." Hastein rose to his feet and approached the Romule, Valk.
Making nary a sound, he drew a small club from his robes and swung it hard at his head.

Underneath the hood it was impossible to miss the grin that spread across Dorians face. Before anyone knew what had happened the remains of an arrow lay splintered on the floor. All anyone really had time to digest was there had been a flash, a blast of thunder and the deed had been done.
Dorian stepped forth and eyed the archer. "Good shot, would have been right between the eyes." He extended a hand, skin smooth as porcelain and equally as white, the air almost chilling around it tinged with a static quality but not unpleasant.
"Dorian, nice to meet you."

Collapsing to the ground, V held his head. Mothefucker... Turning his head just slightly he aimed a kick at Hastey's knee.

"Dorian, in a few minutes I think you may need to raise Hastein from the dead...". Rashidi backed away to the nearest wall.

Hastein's smile at the blow he struck was wiped off as moments later his knee gave way as the Romule kicked him. He directed his fall and aimed to land on his attacker and swung the club again, hard at his shoulder.

Valk grabbed onto H and took the blow. Soon the assassin was grappling and scrapping with the viking, matching blow with blow.

Shar took a moment to acknowledge the pale skinned fellow in front of him, before reacting to the scuffle that just broke out to his left. He immediately summoned another arrow, and pointed it at Hastein.
"Unless you've got some fancy shit like the Necromancer here, I suggest you stay down,"

The wards on Hastein's robes lit up as Shar pointed the arrow at him. The Joms soldier rolled suddenly and thrust Valk upwards and towards the arrow, carrying his own momentum in the opposite direction and coming to his feet unsteadily.
Hastein took two steps back, judging distances as he wiped blood from his lip.

"Stop this fighting! I thought we were all civil, law-abiding..." he stopped himself, looking at the thief girl. "Okay, how about we settle down before you're marked for hanging. Hastein, I thought you were around men of noble blood. What noble attacks someone unaware? Where is your honor?"
