I'd offer to swap nominations with Festavo if I thought it helped to restore proper order, but if you don't want him as Scribe of Justice, you're probably even less thrilled about him as Elder.

May I place on the record that it's alleged admin abuse so far? As people have pointed out, there has never been a criminal proceeding, and not even criminal charges. I understand the statute of limitations has not expired yet, but I know for a fact nobody filed charges against him in the last three months. I find that most curious. Either it's a scandalous incident, then I don't get why nobody did that. Or it's half-bad, then I don't get this discussion.

There are logs on the Forum Administration Control Panel which show his actions and the comment left with it. I do not recall the specifics beyond "respect the Pharaoh private Ivo" with an increased warn level.

No alleged about it, Roga. It came from his account.

Maybe you should maintain a tone of civility Cormac.

I acknowledge the manner in which Lord Ravenclaw expressed his reservations for instance.

"Alleged" as in "he has never been convicted of it, which means he's legally not guilty of anything". For the sake of this discussion I'll take your word for it if you say the admin logs establish, um, fishiness, though. I would just ask that, if this is a big deal and spilling over from "admin-internal" to "political", we deal with this through the proper channels, which is a trial before the Pschent. I see how this would be difficult, for there are no provisions in Osiran law for charges against the person responsible for charging people. Maybe a hotfix for the Criminal Codex, allowing the Pharaoh to appoint somebody to prosecute in such cases?

Okay, I misunderstood your meaning, my apologies and I withdraw my point. :)

Tomb wrote:Sun Apr 17, 2016 2:53 pmFestavo will do fine as Scribe of Justice. He did fine as Pharaoh and he did fine as our Military Scribe. There's no reason to think he won't put forth a good effort as Scribe of Justice if a case ever comes up.
Literally nothing in this post (except I guess about Scribe of War, he did pretty okay at that) can be backed up with any sort of believable proof. Festavo himself has stated he was a trash Pharaoh.
It's okay, Tomb used up all his vicious rhetoric in my campaign thread, attacking my character so his candidate would win an election, and has no more left to spend on a felon who jacked up someone's forum account because of a personal grudge.
LOL, talk about vicious rhetoric.

My questions in your campaign thread were all well-founded, and I hope you don't deny that. I questioned your conduct, yes, but if you don't think there were times when your conduct was questionable, then you need to take a break and look at your record here in Osiris. For god's sake, I even apologized if I sounded harsh in asking them at the time.

I am free to vote for whomever I want to, and I am free to back whoever I want to. This region belongs to all of Osiris's citizens, not just Cormac and what he wants.

Edit: Grammar

Knock it off.

If we would like to discuss the merits of my nominees, then please do so. Attacking each other has no place here or on the forum.

It's unfortunate you weren't this firm about attacking each other having no place on the forum before.

I did have plans for a Public Advocate type position who would act as a special prosecutor, but we'll see how events right now play out before looking ahead.

Fest asked a question, and in my opinion Koth went a bit overboard, a simple 'Don't bring admin work into politics' would have sufficed. However, Koth is his own person and does what he pleases.

Back to the merits and qualifications of my nominees, thanks.

Okay. Your nominee for Scribe of Justice is a felon. Discuss!
