I mean I'm honestly curious why this matters so much to you. It's not like we exactly have a line of people begging to be Elders, given the limitations it gives in terms of advancement of other political roles within the region, and we definitely could use having more than just one. I claim to have the ability to find loopholes in a legal code, as would anybody with some legal sense and the time to pore over a document for long enough. It's not like it's magic, the ability to read a legal document.

However I am not sure how I feel about you nominating yourself I gather its not forbidden or anything but it doesn't strike me as the best way forward. Now that your desire to continue to serve Osiris after your delegacy in a capacity that we sorely need some stability in is evident, I'd imagine you would be the top choice to fill that vacancy by the next pharaoh.
Thanks Noble! Honestly, I did it just to take the piss and have some fun, as I do have a penchant for pulling unconventional moves and the like. If that's enough of an issue that people aren't willing to confirm because of it, I'm happy to wait until the next Pharaoh is election and lobby them to re-nominate myself for Elder if they are interested in doing so. I just figured this might be faster, and as said, way more fun. It was actually inspired by a post in /r/politics about some NeoCon freaking out that Obama would nominate himself to the Supreme Court, so I figured I'd be inspired by it

That'd be awesome! Obviously there's been a lot of getting off on the wrong foot, both here and in the Skype, but I'm big on the whole second chances vibe.

I think Nationstates is a bit too fluid to pull for specific philosophies in the law. I'd say I'm more liberal in my interpretations of the law, and do believe that the State Code can be dynamic and open to certain interpretations. However, generally in the case of most of the cases that I imagine we'll be seeing, the Criminal Code will hopefully be airtight enough that we will not have to work to interpret it to apply to crimes that might not fit. In terms of presiding, I'd say I'm pretty no bullshit, but am definitely lenient towards Counsel. If there need to be extensions for extenuating circumstances and the like I'm very responsive to them. I hope that's what you meant by presiding and how I am when I do.

Probably.

I did answer them didn't I?
Hope that's sufficient, but feel free to ask me follow-ups y'all
