Essentially, this new feature will allow us to post media stories for our newspaper directly onto the NationStates website in a way that is much more visible than simply starting a thread on the forums. Obviously, we'll want our newspaper to use both the forums and dispatches, but by mirroring what our newspaper posts on the forums on NationStates, we'll provide people with more opportunities to make the jump from the core game to the regional forums, which is a good thing for Osiris.

Yeah, hopefully it will prove to be more effective at drawing people into the affairs of the region the media blitzes that most regions have regularly attempted in the past.

@Jack: It's what we do in Ainur for The Chronic. We post the paper as a dispatch but then post a thread linking to it for discussion on the forums and on our allies' forums. It's much more effective, like Kellhus said.

I do very much like this. I should get involved with the Chronic.

I'll gladly take any submissions, Jack. You may even write about Osiran affairs, if you do so desire.
