Congratulations to Gradea for winning our first monthly posting contest! He will be mentioned on the WFE all month and will, for one week, control my pre-title, motto, currency, national animal, demonym, capital city, and flag, within the reasonable limits I stated in the OP.
I would also like to thank everyone for making this the most active month by post count we've had since July 2015, surpassing the drama of March and April, when angry posts were flying about on a daily basis. This kind of consistent, steady growth in activity, instead of the one-day bursts of high spam or the long spells of inactivity broken only by drama or infighting like we've seen in the past, is a lot more useful in building community. Let's beat the summer lull and do even better this month!
