A final question before this is moved to vote:
How do we know we can trust you beyond "I promise to be good"? Simple answer, please.

You can't.
Unless you'd like to get to know me before we vote, in which case I enjoy apple crisp and dislike flowers.
The only way to trust me is to let time go on, and allow me to show you that I can.

On a curiouity note, is there an established procedure to remove a Guardian?

Yes. According to Section 3.7 of the State Code which reads:
State Code wrote:7. The Deshret will have the power to remove the Pharaoh from office by a three-quarters majority vote. The Deshret will have the power to remove any other government official from office by a two-thirds majority vote.
So will be able to remove Guardians if we no longer feel they are up to the task.
So, will there be anymore questions as this has been motion and seconded?

I think that you've got a lot to learn. The best way to learn is by doing, and our current Pharaoh knows a lot about Osiran security, so you're in good hands. And if anyone outside of this Palace ever mentions that I just complimented Tim, I'll deny it.
