My strengths are that I seem to be reasonably well known, although how such a turn of events came about is beyond me. I'd like to think I'm something of a people person and would do well in forging relationships for Osiris throughout my term.

My weaknesses, really aside from RL being as busy for me as it would any average person would the current dogging of me about my activity. I did suffer something of a slump, despite not falling inactive, I did lower in activity.

I hope to bring something new to the table. I have a big idea which I hope will go down well, it all depends on whether or not I get the chance to see it through

Thanks for your answers Aba! I wasn't aware of which requirement you missed in TNP, and to me, it does make a (positive) difference that it was the RA voting requirements rather than your nation CTEing or not logging into the forum as required.

I'm going to be asking all of the candidates this exact same set of the following questions:

1. A coup d'etat takes place in The Rejected Realms, led by The Black Hawks and supported by the United Imperial Armed Forces. The Sekhmet Legion is asked to support the coup. How do you respond? How, if at all, does your response differ if the coup is instead led by the UIAF?

2. What is your favorite color, and why?

3. A coup d'etat takes place in The East Pacific, supported by the UIAF as well as raider regions with which the Legion has collaborated in the past. How do you respond?

4. If you had to choose a song to represent your campaign, which song would it be and why?

5. Osiris is approached about joining an interregional military organization of six initial regions: The North Pacific, Balder, Europeia, Equilism, Spiritus, and of course Osiris. How do you respond? Does your response differ if it is instead a trilateral organization with Balder and The East Pacific and, if so, how and why?

6. Do you know who your Vizier is going to be? You don't have to name him or her, I just want to know from each candidate, honestly, whether they know who they want for Vizier and whether that person has confirmed they're going to take the position. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, more a curiosity.

7. The highest influence Guardian of the Atef seizes the Delegacy and gives his nation to Biyah. The Empire of Osiris is declared, supported by pilers from hostile regions and various unflagged units. Within a few updates, you and your Vizier are ejected and banned, and no Guardian is anywhere within striking distance of the Delegacy. What do you do? How does your response differ if one or more of the other Guardians join the coup, and why?

8. Choose a Christmas carol to be the official carol of the Osiris Fraternal Order, and explain why.

9. A serious dispute breaks out between Balder and The East Pacific, prompting mutual severance of relations between the two. Both sides are pressuring you to cancel Osiris' treaty and sever relations with the other. How do you respond?

10. Two members of your Hedjet are embroiled in intense arguments. These arguments have been erupting, on and off, for two weeks, dominating the private Hedjet IRC channel and even spilling over onto the forum and into #osi on a regular basis. Both are your friends, both do their jobs well, and both are demanding you fire the other. How do you resolve the conflict?

It is worth perhaps noting that the law in question that caused his forced removal has prompted an overhaul of the Regional Assembly in TNP as there was considerable distress caused when a special election was opened. I can also say, as a character witness that Abacathea remained dedicated to the service of the North Pacific and that it was a fluke event (admitted so even by the Speaker) that caused this to happen. Votes rarely close on the same day, and are rarely opened at the same time.

I should say that I recognise some of the questions Cormac has asked from things in the past. *raises an eyebrow* Cormac dearest, have you been digging in my "difficult question" box again?

Aye, some of these actually are real past scenarios. For example, the interregional org question basically asks about a modern-day version of SovCon versus a modern-day version of the Concord. The coup of Osiris question is heavily based on the actual events of the July 2013 coup of Osiris. The question about feuding Hedjet members is almost verbatim a true scenario, between NES and myself during Sev's term.

The feuding Hedjet members also reminds me a bit of George and I at the start of my term, so it's been interesting to read the comparisons

To be honest, it would all be determined by relations with that region at any given point in time. A coup is a coup regardless of who does it, the only thing that really matters is the objectives/agenda of the couping group.

Purple, it's awesome, why ever not.

Same as the first. Responses are specific to how we are with the government of the day at any given time.

Ohh, thats a toughie. I'm going to go into my lesser listened to music here and go "Fallout Boy - The Phoenix". Obvious enough I would hope

These hypotheticals are really tough. It's hard to say to be honest, it would really depend on the conditions and requirements. What would be asked, and offered. I suppose if it was beneficial to the region I wouldn't be closed minded to it, but at the moment I'd like to see Osiris military right before we engaged in/with others.

Honestly, I do not. I've been racking my brains a little about who I would appoint where and if they would take the position but considering how many good candidates there are for the position, some even front runners compared to me, it would seem cocky to me to make any immediate plans.

This is where I believe strong allies and mutual enemies make great bed-fellows. This is not something I believe would have a swift and immediate rectification, but having strong friends and allies would be an asset to quashing this. I hold no bones about the fact that those who were involved would swiftly find themselves in the realms and with a PNG status to their name

"Come all ye faithful" - It adequately sums up both what Osiris needs, and the Joyful nature it represented when I first joined the region a year ago.

Both sides will be politely informed that the dispute is between them and Osiris will be remaining neutral in it. Should either take issue with that, they are more than welcome to voice it, it won't change the position.

I'm not sure about conflict resolution, but just because both want the other fired doesn't mean I'm going to make it happen. People fight, arguments happen, disagreements will occur. We might not all get along, but we are still all here for a mutual goal, and if people aren't willing to work towards that end, that's how someone gets fired.

Here's one question that I'm asking all of the candidates; how do you intend to deal with the relatively low amount of influence spread throughout the Atef?

Do you plan on making more appointments to the security council?
