Severance of Diplomatic Relations

Milograd is a snake. This is not news to anyone who's paid attention over the past year and a bit.
I don't care about his personal attacks at all; my only concern is that his personal attacks imply that I'm running the show here, which I find offensive to Severisen and the rest of the Hedjet, not to mention the other citizens who have supported and approved of our statement. The truth is I'm not running the show and while it would be silly to deny I authored the statement -- everyone knows my writing style by now -- the overall policy was extensively discussed by the Hedjet and the drafting of the statement was also collaborative. Neither the Pharaoh nor this region overall are my puppets, nor anyone else's, and the fact that the PRL's extremists continue to insist that we are somebody's puppet just confirms the wisdom of severing relations. They have no respect for Osiris, they never have and unless we conform to their ideologically extreme standards they never will. And we will never conform to those standards.
What interests me is that Regent Hobbes released a statement only on the PRL forum in which he said that the PRL would not respond to our statement, at least not until the next Chairman decides otherwise. I'm curious to know whether the Regent even authorized this statement or if Milograd has just gone rogue here. If the latter, it's kind of funny that he's trying to portray me as the puppetmaster of Osiris if in fact he is ignoring the directive of the Regent of Lazarus.
Anyway, thanks Zao for bringing this to our attention. There will be no response to his absurdity, unless the Pharaoh directs me otherwise (I've not had a chance to discuss this with him yet). Relations are severed and if Milograd, et al. want to continue drawing attention to themselves and their inability to maintain relations with regions that ideologically differ from them, that's their prerogative. As I've repeatedly told him as he has followed me from embassy to embassy, I'm not going to engage in a pointless and endless back and forth with him. I have better things to do than argue with a region with which we have no relations and that, now, is totally irrelevant to us.
